PC art, all well and good, but I wish to see what you can draw and not paint. I had earlier comments about this deleted, so MODS and ADMIN, please advise where we can showcase OLD art practices here.

I would like to share my own art. But I don't like drawing with a mouse.

Here's some really old ones, I haven't scanned anything new in a while.







The last one does have the contrast changed, and lettering added, but it was drawn by hand, I'll try to find that sketchbook and rescan it.

I was really into hand drawing when I was younger but I've lost interest over the years, now I do all my work on the computer. Maybe I'll draw something on of this days, we'll see.

I like the two first, great attention to detail despite it being stylized. I get what has been aimed at here, and there is little negative to say about it. what I can say: The head on the first is too big, the head on the second is too small. I know it's a style, and believe me they look awesome. But the heads are just.. A tiny bit too small/big!

Keep in mind I wasn't really going for proportional with the first one, it's more exaggerated cartoonyness.

I think the second is more based on normal proportions, it doesn't really seem too small to me.




Also, I drew these more than half a decade ago.

Well, like I said about VoTech, I found many gifted artisans I can't compete with, but I did draw for many a year. As I had this topic as a reply originally, the pics I had were removed. I have to link them again, unless people prefer another image, and they've seen the Disturbed band logo?

I did one for another band, was decided NOT to use it just because of the first letter and how the album might be filed!! It was pretty odd that, because along comes a band using the name I came up with! DISINTER! haha

At comiccon this year, I bought this page, the original art, from Rob Schrab. Soooooo awesome. (this image is only half the page)



He works on velum, and heavy use of goodies like halftone and whiteout. So f*cking cool.

I Haven't put pencil to page since I was a kid in school, I've recently just got back into sketching thanks to my uni course.
Seems I've had a skill and means of enjoyment laying dormant as I've now started drawing decent things and enjoying doing so.

I'll bump this up since I'd like to see if anyone else is willing to add some images of their work. I used to do drawings back around 2002-2003 before I got a computer. This ain't much and I didn't scan them correctly, but this is what I've done.



And the following is just a collage of drawings.


They're just replications of photos and I've even been called a perv for drawing so many females, lol. But I never cared much what people say, I just thought those were some great poses and showed some beauty. I did what I could to capture that beauty on paper with a pencil.

These are some of my photo reproductions. At times I ad this and that from other photos into the mix. Haven't had time to draw in a few years but being an artist is like riding a bike, you fall off and get a concussion oh wait, right, you never forget.
