Are you ready for some fight? Join the Destruction Derby Tournament and see if you have what it takes to be a real man. Rules are simple: arena, cars, and 16 guys beating the crap out of one another. Choose car, get your butt to one of the arenas and show some mad skills.





1. Destruction Derby Tournament is PS3 GTA event held on GTA IV in Free Mode
2. Everybody fights, nobody quits.
3. Don't shoot at other players.
4. Don't leave your car even if it's on fire. It will be easier for me to count who's out.
5. Leaving the battlefield will disqualify the player.
6. Sandbagging won't be tolerated. Sandbaggers will be disqualificated.
7. You are out if your car is unable to ride. Only exception is lying on the roof. If your car will be back on it's wheels until the match is finished you can still fight.
8.. There are three classes of vehicles (sedans and station wagons, two doors, off road vehicles and pickups) and each of them will have their round.
9. Since game is held on Free Mode you need to choose your car wisely.
10. There are awards at the end of the event, in terms of signatures. They will be added during the event.
11.Date and Time of each Round will be posted a few days before in the topic.

Class of the vehicles to each round to avoid confusion and make everyone's chances more or less equal:

First round
Sedans and Station wagons: (Admiral, Chavos, Cognoscenti, DF8-90, Emperor, Esperanto, Feroci, FIB Buffalo, Hakumai, Ingot, Intruder, Lokus, Marbelle, Merit, Oracle, Pinnacle, PMP 600, Police cars, Premier, Presidente, Primo, Schafter, Solair, Stratum, Sultan, Taxis, Vincent, Washington, Willard)

Second round
Two doors: (Banshee, Blista Compact, Buccaneer, Coquette, Dukes, Faction, Feltzer, Fortune, Futo, Manana, Ruiner, Sabre, Sabre GT, Sentinel, Stallion, Sultan RS, Super GT, Uranus, Vigero, Virgo, Voodoo)

Third round
Off road vehicles and pickups: (Bobcat, Cavalcade [FXT], Contender, Huntley Sport, Landstalker, Patriot, Rancher, Rebla)






1. Dukes arena - (Meadows Malfunction)



First basic arena is hidden under Liberty State Pavilion Towers in Meadows Park, Dukes. Simple shape and surface are perfect for rookies in DDT.

Arena is limited by concrete walls.


2. Parking at Colony Island - (Colony Corruption)



Simple arena located near ruined hospital at Colony Island. Square Shape and tarmac surface are good for rookies.

Arena is limited by building, concrete fence and railings.


3. Charge Island Water Treatment Plant - (Putrit Putdown)



More complicated arena, but also suitable for rookies in DDT. Overall shape is more complicated, but the surface of the arena is also made of tarmac. Only obstacles are steel poles supporting the pipes.

Arena is limited by the Water treatment plant gates.


4. Port Tudor - (Harbor Horror)



One of two arenas suitable for semi-pros at DDT. Arena is big, but full of obstacles, which can be used as weapons against your opponents. Surface is also made of tarmac as in previous arenas.

Arena is limited by Port Tudor gates.


5. Francis INTL. Airport - (Runway Rundown)



Second arena for semi-pros at DDT. Arena is big, perfect for chasing your opponents, but varied surface(sand, tarmac, grass) and taxing planes are creating serious difficulties during the fights.

Arena is limited by Airport gates.


6. Francis INTL. Airport parking - (Permanently Parked)



One of three arenas made especially for pros. Surface is made of tarmac, but whole arena is rather small, making it easy to fell out and finish your fight once and for all. Obstacles placed in the middle of the arena can create some difficulties during fights.

Arena is limited to top level of the parking.


7. Multistory parking in Westdyke - (Westdyke War)



Second arena suitable for pros is located at Multistory parking in Westdyke. Limited to only two top levels of the parking with surface made of tarmac this arena is great for pushing your enemies out of the fighting space. Watch out because falling from there takes seriously less time than driving to the top level.

Arena is limited to two top levels of the parking.


8. Higgins Helitours Helipad - (Helipad Havoc)



Third arena perfect for pros at DDT. Surface is made of tarmac, but the whole space is rather small and bordered only by water with only the curbs separating you from your destiny.

Arena is limited by Higgins Helitours Helipad gates.


9. Bohan Beach - (Bohan Beachin')



Arena located in quiet parts of Bohan makes perfect place for masters at DDT. Sand makes it difficult to drive and the irregular shape of the battlefield also isn't helping - I think you may know where the name of this arena is coming from.

Arena isn't limited, you just can't leave the beach.


10. Firefly beach - (Beach Bang)



Last arena that is even more difficult to drive than the previous one. Besides sand and irregular shape you also got rocks in the middle of battlefield and pier poles that will be eager to stop your car.

One limit: don't leave the bitch, umm, beach.

Btw Tyc, just a little suggestion about rule 4. Maybe it would be easier for you that is, to write down who has been eliminated and for counting, etc, by making that rule so that you must not leave you car even if it's on fire, basically, you battle it out until the car explodes and you die, and you're not eligible to return to the arena until there is only 1 man standing.

will mid-engine cars like the Turismo or Infernus be allowed?
It has a pretty big advantage over front-engine cars.

Good idea. I changed rule #4.

Cars like Infernus or Turismo are eliminated from DDT, because as supercars they're not fitting into the any of the groups because of the location of the engine.

If my car is on fire can I try to take out someone else with the blast or should I exit the area to not damage anyone?

You can try to take down someone, but you shouldn't move your car. Just stay in one place and wait for the end.
