How the hell would you go tell whether a dog's memory is going? |
It is pretty apparent on their faces when they're confused. Normally that just happens when you pretend to feed their food bowl and they look around afterwards and stuff like that, but when they have that face all the time, just standing still, you know they're not the dog they used to be.
Even more soul crushing is when they start to go blind. Their bright eyes go all misty and they walk around sloooowly so when they bump into things it doesn't hurt.
I'd recommend a mutt that is a mix of all the breeds recommended already. Hybrid vigour is an interesting thing, meaning mixed breeds don't tend to have the same health problems that purebreeds do. I have a purebreed Cav and one of the issues they have is with their... anal glands. |
Yeah do your research on what dogs end up with which problems, because frankly, it is sad to see like Jay pointed out here. A husky is good, but in a hot climate they may suffer. What's an app for android which i can use to take a frame from a video (Saved on my phone) and use it as a photo?
Edit: I found a decent app after searching frame grabber This post has been edited by finn4life on Monday, Feb 27 2012, 08:19

Recently i have taken it upon myself to go back over what i did in school, it could be useful (I am considering university again), and it genuinely interests me, most things you can learn on your own, but some things require a little explaining. | QUOTE | 100 individuals were asked to lie down and remain as still as possible during the experiment, the following observations were made * Starting room temperature was 22 c * The mean body temperature of all participants at the start of the experiment was 37.1 C * As the room temperature increased sweating and heart rate also increased * As the room temperature returned to 22 C sweating and heart rate went back to normal. Ina a control group of 100 participants who were lying down where the ambient temperatures were maintaned at 22 C no changes were observed |
What is the dependant and independent variables, for some reason i just don't get it, and this is assumed knowledge for any science courses.

I want to buy a nice shirt. Does anyone know any good clothing brands for men that aren't cheap but don't cause me to look into my wallet and sob quietly? I'm completely devoid of fashion knowledge. |
You're in the UK, hit up Top Man/Zara/H&M
At least you can | H&M button-ups are absolutely dreadful unless you look like the letter I. If you're fat or even slightly athletic, you're SOL. If I buy something that fits around my chest, it's too loose around my waist and arms and if it fits around my waist I can't button it up. Also, try thrifting! I'm trying to dress better, so I bought a few decent button-ups for peanuts at second hand shops. Of course, I ruined them in the process of self-tailoring them because I am not a clever man, but at least they were decent before I f*cked everything up.

I'm with you on that one. A late teen in the 60s was probably where it's at. | 1950's by far. Things were much more simple back then, more happy times. Kids were outside, riding their bikes all day. Not nearly as much crime, pedophiles (which were completley unknown back then), and many other things. Only problem is... no video games!
