The thing is not about if your head looks blocky.

You gotta understand the way to use polys wisely.

You can get a nice CJ without making him 20000K Polys.


You won't see the detail ingame at all plus it will be bad for some people who have bad PCs.

Don't worry, man. I get it what you mean. I can't use my poly wisely to create a round smooth plane without using so much poly.

My experience isn't pretty much good on modelling, i'm searching for a tutorial about it. Meanwhile, enjoy high poly of my model.

@Quechus: its not even 10k poly, man.

and please guys, don't compare me with you.
I know you guys can do nice model with low-poly.
BUT ITS YOU, not me.

I'm still in the step of learning 3ds Max.
I'll be better after a lot of practice.

Its not bad but make the edges more hard on the botom smile.gif, and soem other details smile.gif. You getting better.

why not use floating geometry? i mean, the thing would look better, also more polygons for roundness where it needs it

Cmon, im 16 years old AND i started modeling about 1 and half years ago, not so much of pro i am...

Wow, someone actually used my advise! icon14.gif Great job, this model has really accurate muscle structure, honestly it's pretty much perfect in my eyes. Hope you can get the poly thing sorted out.

His head is just fine, only thing that bothers me that you are using same texture on both sides. I think it would look much better when that is fixed.

Agree with CurtisWS, if possible make no "symetric texture" for both side. If possible, make it like GTA 4 head textures got. It wont look then same on both side what makes it looking more realistic and more HD-ish biggrin.gif
