Yeah, that's right.
This is another attempt on recreating CJ to be more HD.
Long time ago, i gave up on this because can't make such a good texture.

But now, with scarface2k_gtasa help, finally i could continue working on this mod.
Planned as ped replacement, since player replacement won't support a higher resolution texture. I'll find a way to fixed it first.

Not really look like him so much, but well, it's the best i can do (for now)

Nice Models, Still Head is bad you don't have to make it exactly like gta make it more realistic. I like the jeans , but texture need lots of work smile.gif)

That's pretty much realistic in my opinion.
Well, if i make it different with original CJ head, that would be a completely new person.

Yeah, i know, it's hard to make something looks exactly the same.
Especially when the original one is lowpoly model with 128 X 128 texture.

Would love to see it rigged for iv, I know you focus on San Andreas but iv would be perfect for the high res texturing, and maybe some normals.
I also know quechus is making a cj for iv San Andreas but I don't think his is this HQ.
Face, don't see a problem there it isn't perfect and needs a few small tweaks but looks pretty good I think.

He looks like he needs more of a crease where the eyelids fold.. My opinion.
Maybe some natural wrinkles obviously not too much because cj is young

EDIT::maybe he just has too small of eyes to see the detail but I know CJ's eyes are small...

I think he looks ok , can you show me the rendered wire of all , i think, it got some smoothing ground bugs .
Textures are ok too , but need more details .
I don't like the head texture , need more details and more sharpen .

Still lots of unused polys on body and head, but just like i said earlier, tired of reducing polys.

what i would suggest, is to sculpt the model and then retopologize it... couse now it has wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too many not needed polygons, also it needs some work, And since when black peopole has blue eyes? i tough that they are ALMOST always brown...

Looks real good, but torso is kinda ugly, you messed up on topology there. Arms and hands are fine though. But overall great work.

What scarface2k said, and i could easily get rid of the polys, but that much poly give more "round" looking, not "blocky" sh*tty model since original one is blocky. Is your head looks blocky ? I don't think so.

And i could get advantage of that by using it to add a lot more detail.
It's HQ you know, i'm not remaking stuff to be another low poly object that looks like default ugly one.

Hope that explain it all.
And never sculpt model before, i made that in 3ds max and start with a line and expand it.

What topology?
I made that based on real person body (the one opnoright used to replied my comment in PPC) and fixing thing exactly like CJ body.
I know CJ body is unrealistic, but this is HD CJ. Not realistic CJ.

I'm not against suggestion.
I'm just voicing my opinion about it.
I might do a mistake, so i'll take a look at it.

He is right you can fix the blocky thingy by using smoothing groups after getting rid of some polys smile.gif

^ Well, i only have less than 1 year experience on modelling, can't make something look perfect.

I know bout smoothing group thingy, that will result in different look on edges that supposed to look round.
I'll try to get rid the poly and let's see how well it'll looks with "smoothing" thingy.
