Well, the additional gang territories that you get by doing the territory glitch are usually low-density territories meaning that only a small amount of gang members will spawn in them. The there is no official 'ideal' time you are suppose to fly because people have reported different results. Some people have flown for 15 minutes and have gotten all 178 territories, while some other people have flown for over 5 hours and have only gotten like 10 territories. So just to make sure, I suggest you use the Shamal( The private jet ) since it has auto pilot, and just let it fly off the map and leave the game on while you sleep. When you wake up just kill yourself(CJ) and when you come back and check your map, most likely it would be filled with territories.

Btw, this glitch does not work on the Greatest Hits version or the Platinum Version so don't even bother doing this glitch if you have one of those versions. Yea it sucks, I have the Greatest Hits version
