Can someone help? My purchased cars disappear after I load a saved game! Why is it not working? I have Gta IV 1.0.4.0, the latest scripthook, and the latest xlive asi loader. The vehicle selector script makes the files vsprog.sav and vscar0.sav - vscar9.sav but NOT vsall.sav! So whats going on???? That is the file that saves the vehicles in there spots but the script does not make it!

I am also using vehicle selector 1.42. Maybe it does not work for patch 1.0.4.0 any longer? Should I upgrade my Gta IV to patch 1.0.0.4 or 1.0.5.0?

Patch 1.0.4.0 isn't the problem, because that's the patch I use and Vehicle Selector 1.42 works for me. Beyond that, I don't know what it could be.

Well FINALLY! Whoo! After hours I solved it. The only changes I made were my permission settings and rechecking EVERYTHING to have full control. Then I changed my asi loader from xlive to dsound,dll after a reinstall. That asi loader came with an ALICE package i downloaded a while back but never used it..so I randomly decided to switch things up instead of using xlive this time. Im not sure how but ONE or BOTH of these adjustments fixed the darn problem! My cars now save and they appear where I last left them when I exit and load the game!!!!!

I am also proudly running GTA IV 1.0.4.0, Vehicle Selector 1.42, and dsound.dll (asi loader for those who are wondering) and I hope this can fix for anyone that had similar problems as me!

Hi. What dsound.dll do you use ? Because i have one, nad i had that problem ( Please give me a link to your dsound.dll ! v1.42, gta4 v1.0.4.0. I also tried to give all permissions to all users on a GTA4 folder, but it can`t help. Maybe i did it wrong. But it`s strange that 2 files it can create but 3 can`t. Please help me !

dsound file isn't the problem !
I used the vehicle selector using the basic xlive, alexander blades dsound.dll and the scripthook from the Simple native trainer 6.4 and it WORKED ALL FINE !!
BUT ! Now after reinstalling the game (new laptop); using the same files, it doesn't work anymore ... maybe I was using another scripthook because I remmeber switching from many scripthook on my previous install

Please, I know everyone begs for help but I also do !!! It's so frustrating as it's basiclly the mod that make me keep playing GTAIV so long
