Hi I must warn you and apologise for being a total noob when it comes to the whole modding fiasco and would appreciate some help please.

I have found a mod that I wish to add to my GTA San Andreas game (GTA Garage: Bicycle built for twohttp://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=14067)

However I have no idea on how to go about adding this to my game.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for all of the help so far, but how do I locate the files that need to be replaced?

I'd suggest using a newer IMG editor such as Alci's IMG Editor that supports bulk replacement of files for convenience. Usage of the program is also pretty straight-forward if you just explore the buttons.

Not to sound ungrateful Adler, but that didn't help at all. I still don't know how to exchange the files. The only difference that the new IMG editor makes is that I have a slightly different user interface.

IMG tool has a search function- type in the names that moddesthug said. Once you find one, delete it. Then search for the other ones. Delete them all.

Then use the "add" function. A box will pop up. Select the dff and txd that came with the mod. Add them- you may need to do them separately. Finally, on the top bar, on one of the drop down menus, click "rebuild archive" and wait until it is finished. Then close the program and run your game.

Open IMGTOOL then click at "files" and then "Open"

and locate rockstar games\GTA San Andreas\Models\GTA3.img

And Click At "EDIT" And Then "FIND"

then a search will popup

type mtbike.dff and then search

now right click at mtbike.dff and then click at "Replace"

and locate this mod's mtbike.dff

then also do this with mtbike.txd hope i helped
