GTA VC- Demolition Man - I did not know how to control a RC Goblin (2003. - 2008.) I had finished it in 2008.

GTA III - Grand Theft Auto (pointless car collecting mission)
Vice City - The Driver (I finally beat it again yesterday but he's so annoying to deal with special with the unfair advantage. A Sabre turbo vs a Sentinel?)
San Andreas - Supply Lines (f*ck you Zero, this is total bullsh*t.)
LCS - None, they are all easy or fun.
VCS - None either, I am a master in this game and have even completed the whole game without ever using body armor.
IV - Don't remember much since the time I completed it but the whole game's 'realistic' physics bugged me to no end.

Okay, I'm sorry if I'm bumping this thread at all, but I just found it and I want to share my thoughts too.

My least favorite missions in the GTA series:

GTA 3: Espresso-2-Go, you have to have an extremely fast car and it catches fire really easily, no matter if it's a Cheetah, Infernus, Banshee or Stinger. Then my second is Kingdom Come, because if you get hit by one of the drugged guys then you basically are dead.

GTA Vice City: Cannon Fodder - It's a fun mission but by the time you get to the van all your tires get popped out, plus the police are on you and you get smashed into a wall and arrested.

GTA San Andreas: Supply Lines - Like many people said, this mission really isn't necessary and shouldn't have passed. Tanked Up, a beta mission, should have been in its place. Also I really hate the Catalina missions just because they're annoying to me.

GTA LCS and GTA VCS - Haven't played them.

GTA IV: Definitely has to be Out of Commission - You get no checkpoints, unlike End of the Line, and getting into the helicopter especially is stupid, because almost every time I try it I get slowed down by people in the way and then I have to start the mission from the start.

I'm sure we all have them. What mission (s) do you dread the most going through a new save for what ever reason being too hard, or just flat out annoying?

For me it's "Life's a Beach" and "Wrong Side Of The Tracks".

Life's a Beach: I can complete this mission pretty easily, but I hate doing it. Everytime I get up to this point in OG Loc's mission strand I think "Damn I've still got to do this sh*tty mission".

Wrong Side Of The Tracks: Big Smoke is a terrible shot. That is all. Very annoying.

Is Wrong Side Of The Tracks the one where you have to chase the train? That was really hard and took me a good few shots to get that.

In III, Bomb Da Base II was a mission I found impossible the first few times, so much so that I tried running ahead of 8-Ball and clearing the tanker. Didn't work out so good. The joy I got when I finally sniped everyone on the boat was immense.

In VC, I can't remember a story mission that I found particularly difficult, but PCJ Playground got on my nerves because of how little it took to be shot off the bike as if you were a cannonball.

In SA, N.O.E. was the most difficult mission because if you touched anything, even the tip of a treetop, BOOOOM!! Flying School wasn't so difficult for me (it was the only one I got 100% in) but Driving School was terrible. I still get flashbacks to the hours I spent on that lesson where you have to do 5 laps in a certain time.

There were some difficult missions in IV, but they were difficult in a fun way. Except Ruff Rider, where if you don't go down the right road straight away, the mission is failed.

In TBoGT, I hated the sniping part of Caught with your Pants Down.

Yes, that's the one.

I know a strategy to the mission though - If you stay moderately far away fro the train and not too close, and then get closer to the front as Smoke kills the Vagos, then it's not as challenging.

I hated all the missions in VC, SA and IV (was not present in III) where the vehicle you were chasing cannot be destroyed until Rockstar say you can destroy it, and rigged 'weighted' traffic that pops out and gets in your way each time in those missions, also sometimes the AI you were chasing bashes other road traffic out of the way like they were scrunched up balls of paper.
I really hate this cheap trick/cheat and I hope Rockstar grow up in future.

It's been a long time since I played GTA III and Vice City, can't recall the missions no more.
GTA San Andreas
Wrong Side of the Tracks. Stuck in that missions for few weeks during my first playthrough. The best way was just to wait above the second tunnel right before the bridge, get off the Sanchez and shoot them Vagoses.
Pretty much Zero's missions. I can never get past his second mission, not even now.

GTA IV
Eh, the missions in this era are pretty much easy.

Let me think here...

III: Bomb Da Base II
VC: Phnom Penh 86
SA: Wrong Side of the Tracks/Air Raid
LCS: Caught in the Act/Search & Rescue/Taking the Peace (Hardest Mission Trilogy in the GTA Era in my opinion)
IV: None, this game was simple.

III: Payday for Ray - I don't know why but I could never finish it in time.

VC: Death Row - The first part was easy, it was the part after you've left the junkyard...

SA: Air Raid - Alot may say Supply Lines... but I found that ok, it was Air Raid I was horrible at, at the time I played SA on the PS2 and manual aiming on the PS2 was damn near impossible for me.

LCS: The Shoreside Redemption - I can't remember much about this game because I haven't replayed it for at least 4 or 5 years but I remember having problems with this mission.

VCS: Boomshine Blowout - Ahhh the forklift was so slow I thought my PSP was acting up.

GTA IV: Like most people there really is no hated mission, the game was easy.

TLAD: Again everything was easy.

TBOGT: To be frankly honest with you, pretty much every mission pissed me off, don't get me wrong the missions themselves were outstanding but what ruined them for me was the 100% checklist, everytime I did a mission no matter what my intentions were, whether if I was going for 100% or not I always found myself taking the shortest route and finishing the mission as quickly as possible to try and beat the time limit. It made the missions feel really linear, I really hope that this checklist does not make a return.

Well that's my list! I don't mind these missions now, I can complete them without too much hassle although I'm not sure about Air Raid, my aim is still horrible on the PS2.

III: Paparazzi Purge - But only on a rainy day, on a clear day the mission isn't too difficult but if you do it on a rainy day the rain will build up waves preventing you from firing the boat cannons straight.

VC: The Malibu Missions - First mission is okay, second one is good when you know what you're doing, third is pointless and rediculous (If Tommy proves to be a better driver than Hillary, why would he hire him?!!), and the fourth needed a checkpoint when you reach the bank, not because the mission's hard but because if you fail driving over that bridge and listening to this crew of bank robbers whine about who's hogging up the backseat just becomes painful.

SA: The whole first part (Up until you reach the Badlands) - There are a few fun missions but it's worse than those bank robbers in the bank heist mission in VC, drive here *complain* drive there *complain* kill him *complain*, and I hate to say it but CJ was the worst of the bunch when it came to whining and complaining, he's like a gangsta' version of Robin from the Batman movies.

LCS: All of Maria's missions - Not the missions themselves, just can't stand the voice they casted for Maria, did they at least try to get Debi Mazar? This voice was absolutely horrid and made me want to yank my eardrums out.

VCS: "Domo Arigato Domestiboto" - "Domestabot, clean up the living room!", "Domestabot, light my cigar!", "Domestabot ..." shut up!

GTA IV: None of them actually, this one didn't seem as frustrating as the one's in previous games.

TLAD: Have yet to play through all the way.

TBOGT: None of them ... checkpoints, yay!

Robbing uncle sam is surely not a 9.7 lmao! I'd say 4.5 tounge.gif

All you have to do is 'babysit' ryder coz he can't shoot for sh!t & never takes cover lol & the patriots that follow you usually get torn up by traffic & explosives

Apart from that I near enuf agree with all ur suggestions cool.gif

I'm amazed at the wide range of missions that you people consider difficult or easy. The GTA games since III as a whole is easy for me to play after my first playthrough. I'm just going to post about missions I dreaded when I first played the GTA games. Now that I can breeze by through all the missions without problems, I don't really dread any of them.

The mission I dread the most was Bait in III. I'm surprised no one mentioned that. You're not allowed to kill the deathsquad, else you fail. You're not allowed to let the deathsquad stop to exit the car, else you f*cked the mission. You have to lure the deathsquad into the defined trap, but they can't follow you for sh*t. You risk getting killed by your own allies with overpowered weapons. WTF suicidal.gif

I'm also surprised no one mentioned Dildo Dodo in VC. There were no instructions on how to fly the damn thing! I only passed the mission after several trial and errors. NOW that I know how to fly, it's an easy mission to breeze through.

End of the Line was ridiculous on my slow PC. The warehouse smoke lagged my game terribly and the scripted chase scene, which is tied to the speed of the game, was terrible. I couldn't keep up with the Firetruck after several tries. Now that I have a much better PC, I had no problems with the mission.
