Hey there, in this post i will be talking about and explaining the current territory glitch a.k.a Hood Abuse Glitch which everyone knows about and plus a new territory glitch which gives territory to either Ballas or Vagos.

Hood Abuse Glitch

I will NOT be talking about the territory glitch which requires you to fly off the map for many hours because I recently just found out that it does NOT work for the greatest hits version of the game but for the original version of the game which most people don't have because of the whole "Hot Coffee Mod" incident.

My Version of the Hood Abuse Glitch

Note:This glitch will only give light shaded territories to Grove Street ONLY. Though if you use this glitch on the same territory more than once, it will give the territory a darker shade of green for every time you do it. The darker a territory is, the more influence you got in it which means that gang members will spawn much more often.

Steps to do the glitch:

1. Make sure you are in a point in the game where you are able to take over/loose territory. Either after the mission Doberman or at the end of the game after you take over Ganton back.

2. Get some satchels.
I recommend using the Weapons Package #3 cheat code which is:
R1, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Down, Down

Or if you do not like using cheat codes then maybe this glitch isn't for you because without cheat codes this glitch would seem impossible. But its possible, just really difficult.

3. Activate the Infinite Health cheat code, Infinite Ammo cheat code and the Lock Current Wanted Level cheat code.

Infinite Health:
Down, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Down, Up, Triangle

Infinite Ammo:
L1, R1, Square, R1, Left, R2, R1, Left, Square, Down, L1, L1

Lock Current Wanted Level
Circle, Right, Circle, Right, Left, Square, Triangle, Up

4. Simply wait for any of your hoods to become under attack by any rival gangs then activate
the No Pedestrians, and Sparse Traffic cheat code to make the process a LOT more smoother.

No Pedestrians, and Sparse Traffic:
X, Down, Up, R2, Down, Triangle, L1, Triangle, Left

5. Head over to the under attack hood. Lure the attackers AWAY from any cars to avoid any unwanted explosions causing you to die. Then throw a satchel to each and every attacker and make sure that ALL the attackers have at least ONE satchel on them before proceeding.

6. Go to a desired area where you would like as Grove Street territory and detonate the satchels there. You will then see the area on the map turn into light green. If nothing happens, then go back to the area where the attackers are at then you should get the message that says, " The area remains your's".

Note: I recommend not getting territory in the Country side or Desert part of San Andreas for GSF members will NOT spawn there.

Note: This glitch does NOT work 100% of the time and it's frustrating having to repeat the process all over again but don't give up, it's worth it.

Alternative way: Another way of doing this glitch is simply killing all the attackers but 3 of them. Recruit them and take them to the area where you would like as Grove Street territory and killing them there. This has been proven to be a more effective way of doing this glitch but either way is fine.


New Territory Glitch

Now for the new Territory Glitch I discovered. This glitch will give territory to either the Ballas or the Vagos, your choice. Now why would you give your rival gangs more territory?? I really don't know, it's all a matter of opinion. I personally got tired of just seeing Grove Street Members every where I went and thought it was time to give some territory to my rivals to make it a bit more interesting. This glitch takes a long time and can be frustrating at some points because it won't always work. But stick with me and make sure to follow the steps COMPLETELY.

Steps to do the glitch:

1. Do steps 1 and 3 of the previous glitch.

2. Simply wait for any of your hoods to become under attack by any rival gangs then activate
the Pedestrians are Gang Members cheat code.

Pedestrians are Gang Members:
Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, X, Down, Up, Square, Right, Down

Note: If the attackers are Vagos, then you would be giving territory to Vagos. If the attackers are Ballas, then you would be giving territory to Ballas.

3. Go over to any of the territories that you got using the previous glitch that you would like to give to your rival gang.

4. In that area, look for any rival gang members(doesn't really matter what gang their from just as long as they're either Ballas or Vagos) and make them attack you. It at least has to be 5 rivals attacking you. I recommend to lure them in to a place where they are safe from getting hit by a car because unlike many other times, you actually want them alive because for this glitch to work they must keep attacking you long enough for the message saying "You left the hood unchecked. You lost influence" to appear. So just stand there and let them attack you. If done correctly, the area that used to belong to Grove Street will have turned either purple or yellow. Not only would it change color but it would also make it into a high-influenced gang territory. The only problem is that both Grove Street members AND members from either rival gang will spawn. But other than that, it's a pretty darn cool glitch I think

New: Extremely Easier Way to do this Glitch:

There is another, much easier way to do this glitch using ARmax codes such as Enable/Disable Gang Wars Control code and Hood Under Attack Control( both codes created by OrionSR )

1. First, activate 'Enable/Disable Gang Wars Control code' if you're at a point of the game where you can't do gang wars like after you leave Los Santos.

2. Then you must activate the Hood Under Attack Control code to speed up the whole process and so you won't have to wait for a hood to become under attack.

3. Start the game with both these codes activated. Press to Enable Gang Wars ( If not available already ).

4. Then activate
the Pedestrians are Gang Members cheat code.

Pedestrians are Gang Members:
Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, X, Down, Up, Square, Right, Down

5. Press to trigger a Hood Under Attack.

6. Head over to any GSF territory you either got by using the first glitch on this post AKA Hood Abuse Glitch ( found by Athiest-4-Life ), or a GSF territory that is normally in the game.

7. In that territory, kill at least 4-5 Ballas or Vagos. Now, you know that there's an icon of a little man flashing on and off on the radar map when your hood is under attack? Well, when it flashes on, quickly press to end the Hood under attack.

8. If done correctly, the GSF territory would have changed into either dark purple/yellow( if done on a low GSF density territory ) or grey/green-yellow if done on a High GSF density territory. All this in less than 3 minutes

9. Do this glitch again on the same territory to give more denisty to the Rival gang that owns it.

Note: All of these territories can be taken over, 3 waves of attack, and will be attacked once in a while.

10. You can also use this glitch on low-density Balla/Vago owned territories to make them into High-density territories.

East Los Santos
East Beach
Idlewood
Verona Beach

They are all High-Density Territories, they just seem lighter in the pictures.





Description: Ballas control Prickle Pine, Spiny Bed, Roca Escalante, Starfish Casino, Pilgrim, and Royal Casino. Vagos control Creek, LVA Freight Depot, Whitewood Estates, and Blackfield. GSF controls Redsand West, Redsand East, Rockshore West, Rockshore East, Last Dime Motel, the Emerald Isle, and LV Airport.





Description: Ballas control Juniper Hallow, Juniper Hill, and Queens. Vagos control City Hall, Ocean Flats and Hashbury. GSF controls Paradiso, Palisades, and Santa Flora.

Description: Vagos control Market. GSF control Marina.


NEW: Using this previous glitch, you can cause any gang to attack your territories in SF or LV. Simply get 2 or more territories near eachother outside of LS for GSF using the Hood Abuse glitch. Then using the 2nd glitch, give either the Ballas or Vagos one of the territories. Then take over EVERY SINGLE territory in LS almost forcing rival gangs to attack territories outside of LS. So now all you must do is wait for them to attack you, and most likely it would be one of the territories you got in LV or SF that would be getting attacked.

I know that the first glitch has been found ages ago but I just wanted to explain it a bit more because I know a lot of people have trouble doing it. Which is why I said in the first paragraph, "i will be talking about and explaining the current territory glitch which everyone knows about". I'm not trying to take credit for it because I did not find it. Just thought I would list the steps that I use to do the glitch.

Now for the second glitch. Did you read it completely?? It's slightly different from the glitch in the second link because it does not require you to die. The glitch in the second link makes the territory like a grayish color but this one makes it dark yellow or purple. It's i different method which gives you a better result.

So next time please read the post completely and research before telling me that I'm "late".

I've never had one or had ever learned how they worked. I probably won't ever get one because I'm more interested in testing out glitches that are possible without any Cheating Devices because the majority of players do not own one. But thanks for the suggestion

But yea, I know it has been found already but I just wanted to share the way that I do it and explain it in a way that is simple.

Yea it's a really cool glitch. I had high density territories belonging to Vagos and Ballas in SF and LV. Not only that but they would also attack your territories in other states which, if you ask me, is pretty cool. yea, the glitches relate in some way.

the coolest part of this is that it doesn't require you to die like most glitches similar to this one AND you can do this glitch without any Cheat Code Devices

yea i'm familiar with those topics which is why I made this post because it seems no one has mentioned this glitch. They might be similar BUT this is a slightly different glitch which gives better results.

The other glitches not giving the same results would give the same results if we did like you. So, end of discussion.

Also, there are chances that already one person found these glitches before you. Links that lil weasel gave you are somehow the proof of what I am saying.

The first glitch that I mentioned has been discovered a LONG time ago by someone else, it's called the Hood Abuse Glitch. I just thought that I should explain it a bit more.

For the 2nd glitch I mentioned: I recognize that there is another glitch that has been "discovered" that will allow you to give territory to your rival gangs as well BUT that glitch requires you to Die in order for the glitch to work. Mine doesn't. Also, the other glitch will only give a low density territory to your rival gang but mine gives them a High-density territory.

I've checked all those links and not one of them has the exact same glitch that I posted here. So why can't you just accept this glitch and try it out yourself instead of just assuming that I'm late and that I'm only posting glitches that have been discovered yet.

The other glitch is mine and it doesn't really requires to die. It was discovered a while ago. So that nulls your first argue.

How do you know how they give density? How can you be so sure? Your probably doing it on a territory already owned by the gang itself while mine is used on our turfs. That's maybe the small difference you're talking about and there is nothing new.

I KNOW they give density, I'm not that stupid. I'm sure of this because I got a GSF territory in Come-A-Lot using the "Hood Abuse Glitch". Ofcourse, it was a low density territory because the "Hood Abuse Glitch" only gives you low-density territories. Then what I did, I used MY VERSION of the glitch, that you claim as "yours", on that territory. The territory turned dark purple. I took over the same territory and when it turned into GSF color, it was dark green instead of light green like before I did the glitch. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the darker the territory is the higher the density is right? and if the territory was light green before and now it's dark green the only reasonable explanation is this glitch DOES give more density right? So look, don't talk until you try out the glitch ok and stop claiming EVERY DAMN glitch as "yours".

Now, if you're not going to give me feed back on my version of the glitch and you're going to continue to argue with me, then just don't post anything else here because you are boring me sir.

Let me clear up things from your little confused mind, man. The satchel one (aka 'Hood Abuse Glitch) was not discovered by me. I admit it, so stop saying I try to claim everything as mine. Plus, it is not needed to die. I remember I've read it somewhere. The one I am talking about is my extand to this glitch which creates Ballas and Vagos turfs on Grove Street ones. Plus, my extand doesn't really requires you to die too. Another 'common' thing with 'yours'. And, to clear up once again your small confused brain; I am Landstalker.

Wow, I didn't say they weren't giving density... Everyone can do it, having a territory in Come-A-lot I mean. As usual, on the first try, it is always low density. I never claimed your 'rip-off' was mine... Care to read again? I'll give you some time. You're right about the territory color beeing affected by the turf density though, for once. You know what? I'm going to shut you up and please you by trying this. Happy?
