Sorry, I was bored.
I bought myself water in a water bottle. I know, I know, I know, I'm killing the environment, and possibly intoxicating myself with plastics on the bottle itself. But I'm here to tell you why this water bottle was a good purchase.
You may think to yourself, "what a square, couldn't he just drink from the tap." I want to tell you that I had similar thoughts about myself during the transaction for the bottle, and ultimately I decided that when I was done with the bottle I'd actually take the time to refill it. Refilling water bottles can actually pay off in the end because this water bottle is larger than most household cups at about one-quarter of a gallon, with a large water bottle I will eventually waste less energy getting up to refill it.
Now, you can already plainly see that such a purchase is beneficial to me, but aren't I poisoning the environment with such a vile thing as plastic? It's a great thought, I will admit, but not one that can stop me! You see here in my city we have recycling bins that are serviced by the city itself, even if I wanted to throw away this water bottle I could just toss it into the blue bin and "as easy as pie" is what the recycling man will confirm to himself as he empties the bin into his truck and takes it to the local recycling center for proper disposal.
Of course, ultimately I may be killing myself when I drink from the bottle, as some bottles are known to leak deadly toxins into the water as you drink it. Well I've recently read on Wikipedia that poly-carbonate bottles (the ones that are killin' ya) are being phased out of the market. Although I've thrown away the label and cannot check, I figure I have a pretty good shot at not dying from using one water bottle anyway.
Sure, maybe a non-disposable water bottle would have been a smarter investment, but I'm proud of my plastic water bottle despite its flaws and consequences. Maybe one day we as humans can be proud of our own flaws, but I do not see a day that such a thing will happen any time soon. I hope we as humans will one day accept our own flaws.

X360 wireless controller for PC, bought brand new for roughly the same price as the wired one. It was definitely a good deal, it's fantastic |
How do you connect X360 controllers to PC, I already know how to connect PS3 controllers to PC. | Not sure but you need a Wireless receiver for Windows" (Basically $20 - $25)
