I couldn't find any classic rock topics that weren't created by Slamman and/or died 2 years ago. And there was no such topic listed here. Now, I am lazy, and failed to look any further back than November 2008. But that would be to big of a BUMP, right? I'm not totally sure what classifies as "classic" these days. I 'spose 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s would do. Everything from AC/DC to Zeppelin, Led. So without further ado... Let the good times roll!.

I was listening to AC\\DC earlier and my dad came in and told me to spread the mulch so i gave that dude the devil horns and continued banging my head
I feel sorry for your father.
On topic: I love classic rock just as much as the next person, but since it's played non-stop on the radio I've had just about as much as I can take. It's rarely something I willingly put on to listen to, but it's always there to comfort me.
I hate the radio mostly due to the fact that they only play the exact same set of songs day in day out. It's also only the obvious songs that are played too never something that no one really here's. For example on the radio they always play Another Brick in The Wall Part2, do have any clue how many other great songs are on The Wall album? I'll take my own playlist over the radio any day of the week because I know my library is more vast then pretty much any radio station or any DJ on the radio.

Because a lot of the songs from The Wall are not as easily accessible as "Another Brick In The Wall, Pt. I/The Happiest Days of Our Lives/Another Brick In The Wall, Pt. II", "Young Lust", "Hey You", "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell". You think people who've never heard the album are going to know that "Bring the Boys Back Home" is Pink Floyd, or that it's even rock? "Vera", "Goodbye Cruel World", "The Show Must Go On", "Stop", "Outside The Wall", etc. wouldn't work on the radio. However I have heard "Mother" and "Goodbye Blue Sky" on the radio before, along with the songs I mentioned as being the most popular from the album.
Anyway, I don't listen to the radio. I've got my '60s, '70s and '80s playlists for when I want to hear rock from those decades.

"Teenage Wasteland" is still my favorite classic rock song of all time. Never gets old.
Who is that song by I've never heard of it. My favourite song at the moment that is classic rock has to be BABA O RILEY by the who.
It's the exact same song. Baba O'Riley is the proper name, Teenage Wasteland is just a misprint of the name. The thought that it's called teenage wasteland comes from it saying teenage wasteland a number of times within the song.
I like pretty much all songs by Queen and The Beatles. Aerosmith is pretty cool too, and there are a couple other classic bands out there that I like. Also, AC/DC.

Recently, my wife made a "mix tape" for her MP3 player. I know all you kids might be into making playlists or whatever, but that isn't what my wife needed. She's kinda weird sometimes.
It is her ClassicRock "Mix Tape" and here is a dump of the directory she used while getting it together.
