Nathan - not trying to diss you, but instead, teach you and give constructive critic as feedback - first off, Em's rhymes are completely out of sync. I think Not Afraid uses a lower tempo than Written In The Stars, you should always look that up while mixin', for example, if the instrumental song's BPM is 94bpm and the lyrics go 104bpm, you should pitch up the beat and lower the lyrics, or vice versa in a different case.
Second, never mix a full version of a song with a beat, always use acapellas and instrumentals, I'm sure there's an acapella for Not Afraid avaiable somewhere, in your mix, the beat of Not Afraid, especially the snare and the kick, are easily heardable. Hope this helps !

Please give me feedback on what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. I want your input on what I have so far. It's pretty much my debut because I haven't had all that much experience with seriously rapping before. Tell me what you think. I know I need a better mic. The mic I used was simply the built-in mic for the laptop.
