I played this game once when my friend brought it over. God, it was bad. I think I'm done with Call of Duty now, unfortunately. It's such a shame this is where the series has ended up, I had so many good times playing multiplayer on the original Call of Duty and United Offensive on PC. And probably 80-90% of Modern Warfare players don't even know those games exist. It's kinda sad.

A lot of good franchises are turning to rubbish. I used to love Call of Duty but their latest offering is awful and I hate that ELITE service. Battlefield 3 has been ruined by EA and DICE with their manipulation.

DICE created the PROBLEM (ruining the servers)

We the players had a NEGATIVE REACTION (planned)

DICE provided a SOLUTION... rent-a-server

MASS MANIPULATION at its best!

Now I have to look forward to buying 70% complete games.

I've played the Mw3 SP and complate it on Veteran, then i noticed that the Campaign Wasn't that long it was Awesome But for some reason it was short for me.

Completely agree. I didn't play COD1 or United Offensive though, i started with Big Red One & COD2 which came out after United Offensive but i'm aware of them and always wanted to try them out. I think i'm done with COD as well but i might give the next one a chance if its Black Ops 2 because i thought Black Ops campaign was really fun and much better then Modern Warfare. Why can't they just go back to WW2 like it was meant for (With the exception of COD4)

What's the campaign mode like in MW3. I've heard alot of bad press. I don't care about zombies. I dont play M.P. The only reason I play these games is for the campaign mode. Keep in mind i enjoyed Black OP's because i know that got alot of hate too.

I'm only going to hire it from the video store. I'm not going to buy it

It's very short. Normal compared to the other games from the franchise.
But it's a good story, worth a rent, but not a buy, specially if you ain't gonna play the multiplayer.

I haven't played the campaign but if your hiring it for 5. Bucks you cant really go wrong.

Well he was asking us to gauge the worthiness of renting it and in tuareg's opinion it was worth renting and he stated so just as cole asked.

You know what, I've mis-read the same post over and over, and only just got it now. For some reason, I've been reading it as, "Go for it if it's worth the money to rent it."

But yeah, I concur then, as I stated in my previous post. I wish I'd have rented it before spending £40 on it...really glad I cancelled my £90 edition pre-release.

I still play this often. I was playing S&D yesterday for the first time on MW3. I do miss the feel that COD4 and MW2 had but this game is still decent I think.

This game is good for those drunken nights of boredom and feeling murderous. I think it feels the same as any other CoD game. I mean yeah they're all a little different. But at the end of the day, it's the same formula. People are just starting to become bored with it. But so many still play.
