My favourite band would be Paramore (with Hayley Williams for favourite singer, of course) followed by Muse, Calvin Harris, Kanye West, Nirvana, LMFAO... I have a pretty open music taste otherwise.

Have Paramore released anything since Monster? As far as I know, that's all they've put out since half the band left early last year. I was a pretty big fan, but the new lineup seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

My fav acts over time where I'd know all or most of their discography would be..

Beastie Boys
The Doors
Led Zeppelin
Aphex Twin
Kraftwerk
AIR

I'd have every album by all them except some bootlegs, maybe.

I don't think they have. Yeah, it sucks. But I still love listening to all their other stuff. And you can never tire of looking at Hayley. So I still enjoy them.

I'll have to conclude that Periphery are - at the moment - my favourite band. I'm also into Animals As Leaders, Protest the Hero, Tesseract and Trivum though.

On the other page I only listed my first favorite band, but here is my top five:

1. 808 State
Pacific 202 and Techno Bell are my second and third all-time favorite tracks.

2. Underworld
Very solid\consistent albums, at least the ones before the last one.

3. Jean Michel Jarre
Not a band, I know but a great artist, one of the pioneers of electronic music.

4. Kraftwerk
A band whose music (in my opinion) is still as great or better than\as in their early years which is not so common with bands in general.

5. Orbital
Another great band from the UK, still kicking ass to this day.
Edit: Unintentional rhyme lol.

Other artists\bands that I like very much but can't order them: 4mat, Jesper Kyd, Aphex Twin, Pendulum (sadly defunct now), The Prodigy, Giorgio Moroder, Boards of Canada, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Cosmic Baby etc.

I like you.

Seen 808 State live a couple of years ago, Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin. All amazing gigs.

Was listening to Orbital on the way to work. They're playing here this year but I don't think I can make it. sad.gif

Also had some Giorgio Moroder pumping this morning. biggrin.gif

It has been a while since I last heard music from most of them, but I am heading in their direction after I finish listening to Prodigy (I usually listen multiple albums\discography from an artist at a time).

I have never seen any of them live, Kraftwerk did a live show in my country two years ago I think but the city they performed in is too far and expensive to get there. I think 808 State were here as well but I can't remember for sure.

Aphex Twin

Ha! Nice....

Hard to believe someone else likes AT, but then again this forum is outside the hillbilly locale I currently reside in.

I really like this track, pretty different from the rest of his stuff

Perhaps Ill try to address this threads question later.

If I had to pick a favorite band/vocalist it would be Faith No More/Mike Patton. The variety of stuff that they play is very cool.

OMG!! I LOVE that song!! That and "Stub (a Dub)" are my favorite songs on that record. They are fun to sing along with as well. (even though my singing voice is hideous. lol.gif )

Mr Bungle are brilliant!!

Í listen to everything and mostly house music, but I´ve listened to Xero/Linkin Park since I was like 5-6 years old, and still do, so they are the "all time" favorite for me.

My favourite band overall would have to be The Rolling Stones though there are times when I enjoy listening to nothing other than the Doors, those two bands along with The Beatles, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, Nirvana and Kasabian are the only bands I listen to more than one or two albums by. I can't have a favourite singer because each one has their own sound so it really depends on what I feel like listening to.
