That's exactly what I thought when I heard about this lol.

Now this dose look like the First good NFS game (minus Shift1&2, and the new HP was ok) to look decent, not to sold on the cut scenes with a button press here and there sequences, but overall it looks great.

About that car list, I sure do hope that's not a final list, as that'd be kinda pathetic. Odds are it isn't, but if it is, well not to sound shallow, but that's just sad.

I'd have to see more. I saw somethings I really like, but also a lot of chances for them to f*ck up the gameplay.

Narcis is trying to point out that taking the series forwards with new features makes people complain that "shi, this is not Heavy Rain", and that if these new features weren't included, people would complain that the series is the same old and never moves forwards (Modern Warfare situation). Stupid attitudes, imo.

I'm quite positive that those two are two different groups of people. The other group doesn't like the new direction, the other group does.

This game will suck. They keep on making crappy f*cking need for speed games. I want a need for speed where you can race through the cities with around 70 cars to drive and most importantly an IN CAR VIEW LIKE SHIFT 2, ALOT OF CAR CUSTOMATIZATION and a good damage model. How hard can it be for them to take the best elements out of the games and combine them into one amazing one. One thing is for sure, I'm not gonna get ''the run''.

To be fair this looks like more like a online store game than something retail worthy, shame. I used to really love NFS before it went 'in da hood', Shift 2 is quite good though I suppose...

I don~t mind a story or QTE. I don't think they have a big effect in the gameplay. Although I think they should only come in during "Special " races. I don't know what to call those races that actually affect the storyline. The rest of the races should just be the regular races I guess. I personally don't want them to include any long races like Forza and Gran Turismo did. Make them optional. I hate taking the lead in the beginning and racing for 43 more laps.

This game is looking sweet. I still enjoy Hot Pursuit so I hope the game plays a little like it. I'm looking forward to the contrast of being in a city/urban space, then on to open country roads in fast cars
