| QUOTE (_____ @ Wednesday, Aug 8 2012, 21:57) | | Be careful, some girls are just awfully nice. I think you may be in a vulnerable situation (you are getting over the last girl) and therefore you are prone to "fall in love" again. | Finding another person to have interest in is definitely the easiest way to get over someone who was previously special to you. Even if there isn't much chance of getting that close to this new person, it's a good idea to let yourself become closer (obviously within reason; don't be unfair and give leading signals if you don't want more) and distracted. Ultimately, the infatuation you will have for this new person will mask the supposedly "perfect" memories you had with your ex (or whomever) from daily thought so that when you go back to eventually remembering them, they seem less significant and less painful to think about, if at all. Atleast, this is what worked well for me when I needed to get over someone in the past. -- Also a good tip for charming girls you aren't very familiar with or if you're trying to show interest: when making eye contact with them, subtley look at each of their eyes in quick succession. So at their eyes - left, right, left, right a couple of times. Most will pick up on this and cause their mind to speculate about it uncontrollably; it's like telling them they have nice eyes without actually saying it. I don't really understand why girls like to be told they have nice eyes, but I think it helped in the past when charming my now-gf. She's brought it up a few times now that we're really comfortable with eachother and I just tell her that I have to look twice at her eyes because they're adorable.

That's me, but since I had that fight with a good friend of mine I somehow managed to put myself over her. On that subject, the fight is over but it's the question if all goes well in our band

I'm in a bit of a complex situation atm.
See, there's this guy, and he likes my best friend, and she doesn't know. It's fine by me, I don't like the guy in that way, I have no romantic intentions at all.
But see, there's this other girl, and she really likes him, and she's the jealous type.
Anyways, so the girl is asking me to help her with the guy, while the guy is asking me to help him with my best friend.
Don't know what do, it all feels so wrong. Standing on thin ice.

Standing on thin ice? Seriously. If you don't know what to do just make it happen, simples. If both of them like themselves, then why not give a little hand for the meeting to happen? There is absolutely no reason for you to worry, unless you like the guy, something that you prove wrong. Maybe you are a bit confused because she is jealous, no? I don't know. What you've said just doesn't seem to be complex at all. All I can tell you is to help them out. My classmate, however, is living in a bad situation. His father is dying from cancer and it is being really hard for him to accept that fact. He is unstable, irritable, he even cried in the last class while giving a hug in my History teacher. Something that we wouldn't ever expect from a guy like him, a strong 19 years old man who has almost 2m of height. This is a situation that we can call quite complex, since we don't know anymore how to behave in his front without touching in the subject. If not, help your best friend.. right?

| QUOTE (blitz @ Monday, Aug 13 2012, 20:25) | No, I don't think you understood the love triangle.
It's three people involved. I'll give them random names to illustrate the picture better.
•Billy •Jenny •Jill
Alright, so Jenny came to me and told me how she had this ginormous crush on Billy. However, Billy likes Jill, who happens to be my best friend.
Now Billy is asking me to help him with Jill, and Jenny is asking me to help her with Billy. |
Ah, now I understand you. Sorry. I didn't mean to be silly or arrogant. But about the question... well, help your closest friend then. Let the other girl f*ck herself, since she just came closer to you just to obtain an advantage over "Jill" talking about "Billy" . Just let Billy and Jill be happy with themselves by giving them a help to meet each other, since it looks like 95% of teens from the world, in general, tend to be way too shy to give girls/boys a proper conversation. Well, before ending anything, did you understand me? I got you right this time? Before any castellano maricón come here to say anything bad about my knowledge, IQ...

So, I just got an Email that the next earthquake to hit Iran will be in Tehran (because of the Tabriz earthquake yesterday). So, basically the people in Tehran always knew that it's their turn, but they really didn't do anything about it (most of the buildings aren't really safe and new. The risk of an earthquake was present 25 years ago and in those years, the risk just got bigger and bigger. So, after Bam and Tabriz, it just started to get really bad and now they're sending Emails around for it. | QUOTE | | انتظار میرود زلزله -اگر بيايد- با قدرتی بالاتر از 7 (در مقياس ريشتر) خواهدبود |
They expect a 7 richter earthquake this year or so. So, I'm paranoid about myself and also about how this will affect Tehran's future. The city isn't exactly earthquake proof so we won't get far if it hits us. Although Iran is a relatively rich and developed country, with the economy not doing so well, I doubt there are enough resources to rebuild the city This post has been edited by Greenline on Tuesday, Aug 14 2012, 09:42
