Based on a few situations in SA, I have a different view on the academic qualifications of CJ and some other GSF members. Ryder once boasted how he never finished his high school to CJ. If CJ, himself, hadn't finished high school, that wouldn't have been much to boast about. In the introduction video, Loc insists on becoming part of the GSF. Sweet advises him to go to college instead. In a Car Showroom mission, CJ told Kendl he had no intention of attending college to make ends meet. In both these situations, had CJ and Loc not finished high school, attending college should've been out of the question. Thats merely my assumption on the matter. I could be wrong but I believe CJ and Loc at least finished high school.

Now that I think about it, should a person's smartness be judged by educational qualifications? I mean, look at Zero. He seems to be an expert in electronics but was still quite an idiot to say the least. Ken Rosenburg was a lawyer but he had his dumb moments as well. So is it fair to question CJ's intelligence based only on the fact that he doesn't have a Bachelors or Masters degree?

I really hate it when someone brings up race where it's not appropriate. Well it's really not appropriate in any situtation. CJ could be the dumbest motherf**ker in the entire GTA series, and that doesn't have anything to do with his skin colour.

Perhaps I was a bit out of line with what I said before. I really do think Claude is the most stupid. My thoughts are pretty much like Dark_side646's.

So I assume that by some of you guys idiotic logic that CJ was the stupidest because he grew up in the ghetto since that is what a few of you said. How somebody doesn't consider that racist is beyond me. You may not have meant it in a racist way but to look at it any other way is funny. How come you guys didn't use the same logic for Niko? He lived in a 3rd world war torn country where education is much less then in America yet nobody bought up his possible educational history where he probably never had education past elementary school if that. Or what about Tommy? We know nothing about his educational history and know for a fact he didn't go to college because 1 you can't attend college while is prison. Also we don't know if he finished high school either since dropping out of school early is not a racial thing seeing as a lot of gangsters from all ethnicities drop out at early ages to focus on their criminal carrer. Actions speak louder then words and the reaction CJ got and still gets to this day is overtly racist and 1 minded beyond a doubt most with no real backing other then ignorant assumptions on a video game character.

Now if you want to look at their intelligence as others said education doesn't equal intelligence look at their accomplishments. For CJ to have been as stupid as some of you are trying to say I'd doubt he'd been able to amass the empire he did, reunite his gang to be the most powerful in the city, be part owner of a casino and in bea stages been able to own and construct casinos as well as own turf all across the state, own numerous properties and still have a moral code to the crack epidemic. Yes CJ was hot headed but he was also young. What CJ accomplished is right up there with Tommy and along with Vic those3 were the most accomplished. What did Niko do exactly that made him so intelligent? Get douped by his cousin into thinking he was such a high roller and working like a slave for others while at the same time always speaking on how he dislikes what he's doing? Yes that's oh so intelligent. Or what about Toni? What did he do? The most he did was become a Made Man in a family that would be so weak just 3 years later that I can't even see that as being an accomplishment. Havne't played CTW so can't speak on Huang. Claude would seem to be the stupidest as he never once showed any sign of ambition and was a lap dog for everybody he worked for. Luis wasn't a brick either as he was able to make the right decisions when needed and his loyalty was what guided him. Johnny was the same as well. Some of you guys logic on your decion fail at actual logic so much you might as well just admit that your decisons are biased and or racist because that's basically what they ammount to.

I don't get it, why do you keep on automatically making CJ an exception on everything? So, yes, he didn't go to any college. But tell me, what makes you think Tommy, Niko or the rest did get so far in terms of education?

And do you really need school to be educated? Haven't you heard of books? I can just buy a book about history and laws so I don't have to go to school. Does that make me any less educated? Ha!

And lol @ the last sentence in response to Sergi. It's so ignorant and biased. Tell me which GTA character didn't earn everything by killing people? Tommy went all out with destroying property and killing whoever got in the way to get where he got. Claude was like a mute killing machine that killed everything in sight including his allies when instructed just to get by. Toni did everything he was instructed including wiping out a big part of Staunton Island for the cash. Niko did nothing but dirt throughout the story. Vic killed and robbed to finish off his business with whoever was into his business in the first place. And lastly CJ was no different. He killed, robbed and destroyed his enemies and their properties to put them in their place.

I don't think any of them were really "stupid"... but I do think that Huang just seemed to hang out with the wrong people, and sometimes did some things that didn't make sense to me. Perhaps it was the limitations of the DS that not only affected the presentation of the story, but how well I was able to understand his character.

Niko was smart, didn't get his feet in others moccasins, he was also loyal. And a f*cking awesome personalty.
