HI...

It has been a while since I started "studying" the meanings of every single number on an Handling line in GTA SA. And I'm asking you, car modders, to ask me to make handling lines for your vehicles !!
(Specially those who publish cars without handling lines and wheel sizes... MAN That's annoying... No ofense )

Yeah, it sounds a little ... weird ... but I really want to know how good I am at it...

Is that asking too much?

HI again... Basically, face this topic has a "Handling Request Topic"

You want...

-> Realistic Handling: Real "0-60" timing, real top speed, real "0-Max Speed" timing, etc... Just need to go to wikipedia or something like that
-> Drift Handling: RWD or 4WD, quick turn drifting, long wide drifiting, etc...
-> Dragster Handling: I made one once, but I gotta say, these are the hardest (at least for me). Only made one until now :-S
-> Funny Handling: Reaching 300 km/h in something like 2 sec? Just use your imagination lol

You want a drag racer...

But a Funny drag racer, like 0-200 mph in 5 sec, or put the car making wheelies? Or you want it realistic ?

Say some features that you want in the car...

Stiff steering, top speed 150 in a quarter-mile, maybe some wheel pop (wheelie), lower center of gravity, and enough traction loss for a good burnout.

@1. You should have to yank the wheel for it to turn. NVM if you can't do it.

1. It's not that I can't... I'm not understanding, sorry .. . When you say "yank" you mean pushing the handbrake and turn the wheel to the opposite side ?

I believe he meant that it should have a wide steering radius. Real dragsters have lower steering ratio's so the front wheels are less responsive to adjustments of the steering wheel. In other words, don't make it turn as sharp as it normally would.

There's good news and bad news

Good news is: I was able to do almost everything you asked

Bad news is: I still didn't find a way to make a burnout and a wheelie at the same time... Is it possible?

Yes it is. If I were you I would have started with a motorcycle handling line, and adjusted to work on a car. It always worked for me.

This "Dragster Line" thing is new for me... I already made plenty of lines, bot for other ends, like 4WD drifting and RWD drifting...

It has almost realistic acceleration, 340 km/h top speed, makes a little wheelie (but the rear bumper can touch the ground if you take off with NOS ), and the steering angle is VERY low... The only bad thing, is that is gets a little hard to control when driving close to 300 km/h

I also made the wheels wider and added Xenon lights, looks nicer, at least for me

Try it out, and say what you think... As I said before, that's the first Dragster line I ever made...

Hey Edward can you make a handling line for this car,
Toyota Supra
I've been trying to make my own handling lines but i either get severe understeer or oversteer also no matter what on the cars brakes lock up for me when turning while braking.
I'd like it to have a 0-60 Mph time of 4.9 seconds like the real car, also when its turning corners id like it to have alittle understeer but not much,
and id like its back to slide out a tiny bit when exiting the turn, also i'd like it to take atleast 30 seconds to reach its top speed, and id like its top speed to be 155mph.
also id like to be able to turn while braking, right now the cars brakes lock up. and the car should take a little over 3 seconds to brake from 60 mph.

Never tried... I played GTA III about, 3-4 times? That was it... But if it's similar to GTA SA, I can take a look

HI... I'm glad the word is spreading Keep it coming....

You were very specific there, makes the "job" a lot easier, believe me (One Thing, 3 seconds to brake, all good, with ABS or without ABS ?)

Unfortunately, I'm going trough a rough time, lots of stuff to do, so it may take a while to make it ready, I hope you don't mind

When I get free time, I'll do my "magic" the best way I can.

When I get it ready, how do I deliver it? Post it here, or you wanna leave an e-mail adress or something?

BTW: Somebody tested the dragster line? That's was the first I ever made

With ABS, that what i ment when i said that i hated cars wheels locking up while braking on turns.
and i dont mind that it might be awhile, as im currently busy also, and you can just post it on here
when your done like other handling line, and ill try finding a car to test the dragster line,
