Nah, it's ok. I know why it failed, i was importing some objects and when i was exporting new ones, i had leftovers with dummys that had no linked meshes so it's 100% normal it complained.

Ok, followed the video (I was so excited that didn't see it) and made a try, really awesome, another planet!!!
But it doesn't seem to work for me with 3 and 4 layers: I tryed also by opening 3ds max and selecting 4 layers without touching the paint with 2 or 3 layers, but it seems corrupted like I prevously said.
Anyone tryed 3 or 4 layers blended terrains?

Like you've previously said, the texture coordinates're corrupted - re-assign them again through UVW Map/Unwrap/etc texture mapping modifiers.

I done it like in the video, UVW Map to channels 1,2,3,4 and always collapse all (and it didn't show me the message that the textures coordinates are wrong)
I even done it to a new mesh just to try but I can't make it work, I tryed all the possibilities sad.gif
My textures are dds, but I tryed also with png and the object is an editable mesh... I can try with jpg but don't think it will make the trick..

Maybe I will make a video today

You can try to look forward, in the101 pages and you have the similar problems, your version is 2012?

@Steel? did you try setting the UVW map coordinates again on the corrupted parts after painting them? might fix it :l.

Today is my lucky day (I think the Chinese version is not supported, even the English version ), I downloaded from ThePirateBay MAX2013. The successful operation of GIMS, but gtaforums many people say2013mistakes, I want to know this will affect our modified model? 2013whether can easily modify Niko characters and clothes, pants, shoes model. Can the normal model map? 2013what are the issues?

Can I use the2013export file, and then use the 2012edit?

There are big problems with skeletion, you cant work with peds/clothes in 2013, also some other problems.
Best version is 2012, you can download student version from official site, its free and without limitations, or you can download max from other source and activate it using student key. Good luck.
