Strange, I've been doing loads of successful slides, it's all about timing and positioning - and having a good player to do it with
The nature of slides tho, many are fouls.
Slides are usually a last resort, tho FIFA 12 seems to make it more realistic
Shame the AI sucks in every possible part of the game... (may get a vid to show)

Heh, I win a lot from slide tackles rather than standing ones. That sh*t always gets me a card

Anyone got tips on boosting Team Morale?

half my players are in the red, most in orange, few in yellow one 2 in green - barely.

we're 8th in the league - pretty damned good for a team who's enjoying their first season EVER in leage 1, not bad WDL record, average about 2 goals per game, with a few 5-1-esque victories under our belts.

There's no reason for the morale to be so low, and i can't get it up - winning games does NOTHING, scoring does very little, and playing a player only shifts it a tiny amount, then it goes back down.

Am i missing something? Or have EA f*cked up once again?


On another note, players don't seem to be growing at all - the menus/stats say they are (green +3 or something next to their default stat) but no difference in game!

EDIT: ok so half the team's morale's in the red - play one game, win and everyone's in the green!

Are you guys up for playing in a gtaforums league (ps3 here)? I'm still acquainting myself with this game so I don't yet know all the ins and outs of head-to-head seasons and private leagues, but if there are enough people interested, I'll look into it and be happy to set it up

Yh I'd be up for that. But please for the love of god can we have some rules. E.g. Nobody can be real madrid, because they are the equivalent of someone using a noob tube on COD I'm afraid. It's not exactly a must, but it just makes things more balanced.

Well if somebody else is a team like Barca then I see nothing wrong with going Madrid but if somebody else has selected a 4 star team then obviously you should go a 4 star team too.

I'm down with some rules. However, we can't just exclude 1 team - I find that silly. What about no 5-star teams? I played in a fifa11 league that excluded all 5-star teams and it was great! Each player really had to play well if they wanted to win anything. I'd even go as far as to say 4-star and below, but what do y'all think?

Sounds like we have a decent amount of people interested. Are we all on PS3?

Yh I'd be happy with no 5 star teams, or only 4 stars and below. Either works good for me, it just cuts out the abuser teams. n Yup I'm on PS3, stroypa is my PSN. What was you thinking for a good number of players for the league?
