Infamous hook singer and former Death Row artist Nathaniel D. Hale, better known as Nate Dogg has passed away his family announced last night. According to TMZ, the cause of death is unknown as of press time. Nate Dogg has been suffering serious health issues the past years after he suffered a massive stroke in 2007 followed by another in 2008.

I know, I know, it's MTV but it's as good as anything. Bit of a shock. I knew he had health problems but I didn't expect death, especially not as young as he was. The cause of death is as you can see, unknown as of yet. I suspect something to do with the multiple strokes he suffered a few years back.

I'm really not into that whole scene of music, so I can't say I'm too familiar with the guy's work. But the fact that I'm so out of touch with that genre, yet had still heard a lot about the guy is a credit to his contribution to the whole scene. Quite sad that he died so young too.
