Crazy! The only word to describe it. Pakistan were bowling so beautifully, then it all simply fell apart and New Zealand made there final 100 runs off just 29 (yes, TWENTY-NINE!) balls! Now the Pakistani's have work to do.
With that said, that's what I love about this World Cup, it's so even and open, anybody (whether in the form of a a team or single individual player can win it). Here, take for example my list of the 'best...' (i.e. if the ICC asked me to do one of these lists right now);
Best* All Round Batting: India
Best Single Bastman: AB De Villiers (SA)
Best WicketKeeper: Sangakkara (SL)
Best All-Rounder: Yuvraj Singh (IND)
Best Seam/Fast Bowler: Umar Gul (PAK)
Best Medium-Pacer: Shane Watson (AUS)
Best Spin Bowler: Graeme Swann (ENG)
Best Fielding: South Africa
With that said, the list is still highly contentious, I mean where are the West Indies, New Zealanders, the likes of the Little Master, the Irish quick-hitter, the Kallis-minator? Because the standard is so high at this tournament, you are seeing the best of all sides shine through and I think this is a good thing considering it goes on for a masterful 377 days, 8 months and 16 years...

| QUOTE (Kanja @ Mar 3 2011, 00:31) | | At Last i want to request if in final Pakistan defeat India then please don't be anger on India's Muslims xD As some extremists do usually. Don't burn their houses please lol i hope Shiv-Sena will not interfere in world cup. |
And I'd like to request pakistan to not try and kill the whole of Bharat's squad with government trained terrorists ( source) like they tried to with Sri Lanka's squad ( source). Oh and I also hope pakistan doesn't try match fixing again and become the laughing stock of the world, yet again. How can I forget shoaib akthar and his attempt at cheating by using steroids? Bharat is a democratic nation unlike pakistan. It is unlawful to set the houses of muslims on fire, unlike in pakistan where no action is taken when Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and any and all non-muslims are brutally attacked, raped and killed even. On-topic though, I was sure that Bharat was going to win the match today. Still, it was an awesome match regardless. Tbh, today's match and Bharat's match against England were the most entertaining matches in the world cup. This post has been edited by Warlord. on Saturday, Mar 12 2011, 17:30

Only three scores posted below 100 so far in the tournament. One of those was from the Associate member Kenya against New Zealand, the other two were from Bangladesh against West Indies and South Africa respectively. Disgraceful performance from the Tigers, with their fans having every right to be mad at their lack of, well, everything.
It's been a great a tournament for the smaller teams so far; Ireland, Holland and Zimbabwe have all showed what they are capable of in my opinion. The average sides (Bangladesh, England, Windies, etc) have been well average or poor, nothing special. While the top sides have been as unpredictable as every one else, making the tournament just that little bit more interesting.
