Hello I have original LCS on PS2 and i export models
MDL importer is good for 3ds max 2008 ?

use either milkshape 3d ( http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/ms3d/index.html ) and export it as a .3ds file or use object viewer ( http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=46 ) open it then export as a .obj file then use milkshape 3d to import it then export it as a .3ds file. Hope i helped
