New footage of a map called "Armored Shield" and the new Tank Superiority mode:



A new confirmed tank for the Russian side is the 2S25 Sprut-SD.

Tank Superiority is basically Conquest, with one flag. The team who is best in tanks and continues to pound the enemy and push them out of the flag with emerge victorious.

Seems more like Close Quarters with tanks...

BF3 may have their gay ass server sh*t but I don't f*cking care. People just f*cking spawn camp, and spawn trap and I'm just done. f*ck Infinity Ward, f*ck DICE.

I'm going to f*cking never touch a DICE game again. I Just canceled my pre-orders for BO 2 and MoH: Warfighter.

Now I will just play Minecraft and MLB.

Well based on your 2 other posts in this topic, all you did was play on Metro (unless it was Kharg). You opted to play mostly on a tight infantry map in a game known for it's large maps, vehicles, and multi-faceted player engagements. And judging from your bitchy spawn-trap comments, you weren't very good. I'm an average player I'd say, and I've yet to be consistently spawn-trapped on any map unless there was an issue with unbalanced teams.

Spawntrapped is something you get done by either a really good but extremely douchy enemy team... or with your own team sucking balls and doing every damn effort to be useless to, well your own damn team.

Sometimes this goes hand in hand but that's just the facts... not design flaw. Also if you pre ordered Black Ops II it means you have no idea what good FPS games are actually. And heck: BO2, Warfighter and BF3 aren't the only FPS games on the market, they're just really popular and well known.

Rant... armored kill looks badass. Can't wait for it. When and what is the bonus content drop they actually promised? Still curious for it.

I still have my fingers crossed that the bonus content is some new sidearms. I hate new camos. They are essentially useless, and I usually prefer the ordinary gunmetal grey. Not sure what it is, but they should announce what it is in a week or so...

I would still rather have the M416. The recoil is to poppy, it bounces around. The M416 generally just goes straight up, way easier to use.

I have to admit, that tank mode looks kind of stupid. I agree with the criticism that it's like CQ for tanks. It's just a michael baysplosions version of BF3.

Are there any two round per map rush servers anymore? All the servers I go on have this one round per map crap and I hate it. It's not the way BF3 was meant to be played. This game has turned to sh*t in the last few months with the inclusion of rent-a-server and premium. DICE are sellouts.

I have to quote this since Sabaton is almost always the best metal band to listen to while playing Battlefield games.


Now, about the FPS debate, I wouldn't say "screw everybody". While most of the upcoming FPS games will most likely be generic as hell and possibly complete sh*t, there will still be some good ones. If you are a PC player, then you might be excited for the upcoming ArmA 3.

For me Team Fortress 2 is the only one FPS I can stand and, what's more, enjoy. Mostly because classes are completely different.
