I'll say, the visuals look much better than the first PSP, which I bought only for GTA. And double joysticks? About damn time.

If they release another portable GTA for it (don't count on San Andreas Stories, people. They're focusing on the IV universe now), then I'll probably end up coughing up the dough for this. Until then, I'm content with what I've got.

Regardless, it does look cool. Would take some getting used to though since I haven't used a PSP since GTA IV was released, and I don't have a PSP anymore.

Four cores...that's three more than my computer. This machine sounds like it's going to be comparable to the PS3.

I wonder what sort of HD quality are we going to see, comparable to PS3 or lesser.

Edit: Scratch that, it might be worth getting not only for GTA. Wouldn't say this reflects what the games would look like on PSP2, but none the less:

I must say, I usually don't give a rat's ass about handheld products, but this looks very impressive.

Dual analog sticks, touchscreen, PS3 graphics? Pure win. Don't expect the price to be under $200 though.

Remember that the hardware isn't really comparable to a PS3; it would probably buckle under uber physics and the graphics card only has to handle a tiny resolution.

Regardless, this is amazing for a handheld - might pick it up if they bring out a new GTA on it.

My psp is just gaining dust ever since I got GT5 for ps3, which was also just gaining dust before that.

Why can't it? The PS3 is six year old hardware, this is brand new, has a f*ck-load of power that rivals their own home console, has a bunch of extra features AND most importantly: it's portable. If anything it's very likely to have a higher price than a PS3.

Remember 599 US DOLLARS for the PS3? Well that price was PS3 being produced at a loss (before they cut it down even more), though Sony have said they will produce NGP at a loss too it could be anything from $400-$700. I have no idea why people expect it to be cheap, look at the power of the damn thing, and look at Sony's history with pricing of their consoles and handhelds.

I expect a 2 hour battery life from this beast.

Though I'm trying hard to hesitate, I'm starting to think that this may be the breakthrough R* was waiting to make San Andreas Stories for. I mean, it seems lately that when ANY new gaming console is released, R* is always there to make an "exclusive" game for it in alliance with it's producers to boost the sales of the console itself. So I dunno, might just have to wait this one out.

I think they already stated this has a battery life comparable to the PSP-3000, which puts it at 3-5 hours, which at the top-end is the same amount of time Nintendo said the 3DS will last.

And the price will probably be around 350 to 400. Games will probably cost $50. \

And i might get it, but not at launch.
