Hello
every time that I drive inside booth tunnel [the specific place is in the image]
the game freeze for a few seconds and then crash, with the windows 7 messege "GTA 4 has stopped working" and it says that windows is looking for a solution and it closes [nothing after that].


the game is running fine on low graphic settings, and never had a problem with it [Original genuine copy].

my system is:
Windows 7 64 bit
4 gb ram
intel e8400
ATI HD4850 512mb

and the ATI driver is up to date.

please help

Any mods? I any case, I'd recommend a fresh install and a defragmenting run on your HDD.

Uninstall the game, keep the savegames, don't revoke the license, delete the game install directory, reinstall the game, update it manually.

Hey there ! i'm sorry to bump but it's just to help people who gets this bug ... i had it since yesterday and looked for solution and the only one that was said everytime was to reinstall and disable every mods ... i remembered that i already got trough this tunnel and that the last mod i installed was VisualIV ... i backed up files replaced by this mod and now it works there must be a setting in VisualIV's "visualsettings.dat" that screw things up ... i'll try another mod that changes this file to see ...
Again sorry to bump but it's just to help people in this case so i think it's okay
EDIT : i tried another tweak that modifies the same files as VisualIV and it seems like it brings back the crash ... i guess it's because i use the 1.0.7.0 version of the game ... i used this mod : http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=386262 tweak n°5
