I agree with the graphics thing but saying a physics has little to do with the gaming experience is just wrong. Physics is probably the most important thing of a game, it gives the game its "feeling." If a game promises so much it should at least have a decent engine to base it on.

Speaking of graphics, the cars, lighting, and texturing should not look less detailed that GTA SA's, that's just embarrassing. And the sounds... lets just hope there is a Doppler effect... I'd rant about more but I'd look like I'm trolling.

In all regards, it better make those 12 year old fanboys finally have something to talk about.

Saints row 2 was fun for about 3 weeks. And no, i dont usually get bored of games easily. Haven't completed it yet

For me to get the third, it needs

- Graphics overall

- Give the city some atmosphere, please.

- Better story mode, and mission structure

- Vehicle physics

- Better online mode. Free mode is a must.

- No stillwater!!!

- Take itself a tad more seriously!

I liked both SR. Although for SR3 I have some wishes:
- Better Graphics. But I think the graphics will be better since we saw some RF:Armageddon trailers and they looked much better.
- A new city. Stillwater is beaten to death.
- Even more customization . This is where Volition scored big time, I would like to see more of it.
- Give us a phat bossfight where we finally take care of Dex.

Volition stated ages ago, that Saints Row 3 will be very different from the first two games, and will clear alot of things up. And the graphics will be as good as, if not better, than GTA IV. So I'm pretty excited.

Saw this on Blue's News and thought I would pass it along:

SR3 Autumn 2011 Release

I enjoyed SR2 on the PC even though it was horridly ported (performance was terrible). I did like the crazy/zany missions of SR2 more than I liked the GTA IV missions. It would be interesting to see what R* does now that SR3 has been given a tentative release season. Hopefully, this will push R* into revealing what they have for GTA V.

Honestly there's no excuse for the graphics not be as good if not better then GTA IV considering it's a 3 year old game this year.

YEAAAH ! Saints Row 3 has been announced, awesome news ! What's even better, it's coming for PC as well !
This will keep me occupied for a bit, until GTA V or Mafia III arrives; I have about 120 hours of playtime on SR2 according to Steam ...

Really? Cool. That's what kind of put me off the game. I love the gangstas in San Andreas but because that was a classic era for gangstas. Now it's sort of obnoxious where it appeals to 15y.o kids buying commercial gangsta clothing and music. Very far from Grove St days.

I hope they make the game visually more realistic and less clowny but keep some of the fun.

Yes, reason why I will never play Saints Row 1 and 2 again. I gave them a shot over at a friend's place and I absolutely hated the games. Not only are the controlls jiffy, the car driving totally not interesting... the over the top lame commercialised 'gangsta' theme was just boring as hell.
