V-Rock!!!! I f*cking love Vice City. V-Rock had the best songs. Lol. Too Young To Fall In Love by Motley Crue because the Crue just kick so much ass. What's funny is that Lazzlo and Fernando Martinez all seem to be on the radio in every game. Haha. What ever happened to Love Fist? They were big in 1986 in Vice City then in 1992 in GTA SA, not a mention. Damn grunge music. LOL.
VC has one of the best game soundtracks ever. Generally I like almost all the songs/radio stations. Whereas with other GTAs it might be just a few. IMO not even VCS's soundtrack is as great as VC. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.
Perhaps my favourite station though in Emotion 98.3. You know those moments where you pull up on the beach and watch the sun rise/set? To me nothing is more calm and relaxing than doing to to Emotion 98.3. It's just a nice way to kick back.
On the other end of the spectrum V Rock as a few have said is easily the best Hard rock/metal station in the series.
I've been a rock/metal head for years.
Here are some of my personal favourites from VC's soundtrack.
Night Ranger- "Sister Christian" REO Speedwagon- "Keep On Loving You" Foreigner- "Waiting For A Girl Like You" John Waite- "Missing You" Michael Jackson- "Billie Jean" Twisted Sister- "I Wanna Rock" Bryan Adams- "Run To You" Wang Chung- "Dance Hall Days"
Just to get your hearts racing here's a "I Wanna Rock" music vid.
Dance Hall Days - Wang Chung (Flash) Your Love - The Outfield (Flash) Video Killed The Radio star - Buggles (Flash) Sunglasses At Night - Corey Hart (Wave) Billie Jean - Michael Jackson (Flash) Working For The Weekend - Loverboy (VRock) Africa - Toto (Emotion) More Than This - Roxy Music (Emotion) Missing You - John Waite (Emotion) Wanna Be Startin Something - Michael Jackson (Fever) Four Little Diamonds - ELO (Flash) Out Of Touch - Hall & Oates (Flash) Kids In America - Kim Wilde (Wave) Japanese Boy - Aneka (Flash)
I like a lot of the '80s songs. My friends think I'm unusual for my age and I believe they're right. I have an old Flash FM soundtrack CD. I liked the part when Toni demanded the guy to flip the CD as if it was a record. I think Vice City was a better parody than the later series were. The '80s seem to be the good decade to parody on. I also find the literal versions of the '80s music videos on youtube to be funny. It makes me wonder what living with the songs, fashion and technology of that decade were like.
On the other hand, I didn't get some of the commercials. I guess they parodied real commercials.
