Preview that was posted on previous page was nothing new. In fact it was made from two part of gameplays that were already posted here maaaany times. I found it extremely funny and I've watched it because of the comments. Some of them were cracking me up.

IMO, game looks good. Driving, shooting, parkour-ing, and fighting system looks alright.
Only one thing that i didn't like, the facial animation. It looks so bad, really bad. Making the character looks "dead". Voice acting is pretty good though.
Even SA got a better facial animation than this.

About pop-in issue, with a proper burning disc method or not, if it exist, i just hope that it's not that bad.

Nothing about any gameplay of this screams GTA beater to me, not at all. Some things look really cool and fun, but other things could actually really ruin the experience for me, it remains to be seen. A game becoming better than GTA? ^ I'm not a GTA fanboy. but in my opinion, I agree that there is no sandbox game could compare to GTA.
but there are great stuff that could make SD an awesome sandbox game, you is an undercover, you take part in a big gang in Hong Kong, you can fight with martial arts style, you can shooting with slow motion,... GTA games wouldn't even have any of these thing.
still, the reason why GTA games were so great because it's great in overall (great graphic, great story, great gameplay,...) while SD might have a bad graphic with great gameplay and story, which make the game hard to compare to GTA. but after all, these are 2 sandbox games in different style.
