Every game gets old in terms of graphics. The hits from the past fall into oblivion for various reasons, but undoubtedly the most significant of them is poor -as for our times- graphic quality. GTA Vice City is presently a collection of blatant textures and models, which certainly don't make the game more enjoyable. Vice Cry is a modification that aims to prolong the life of the game, and to make one of the best parts of the GTA series more entertaining to play.
Changes:
- specially modified gta-vc.exe for Vice Cry, - new roads: 99%~100%, - new sidewalks: 99%~100%, - changed 100% vegetation (100% with flowerpots), - LOD system for palms, - 3D grass, - a slew of new textures in HD (1024x1024), like: concrete, ground, rocks, metal, wood, buildings, walls, water, doors, etc. - marsh vegetation, - new vehicles (Xbox Vehicles Mod), - new effects (modified particle.txd), - radar HQ and weapons in HUD HQ, - tropical island, - remodeled some skycrapers, - remodeled pickups, - new particle effects, - modified traffic lights, - repaired a lot of texture mapping, - reapired bugs in .IDE, - a lot of modified models, - TRAILS - new option in graphic settings. - modified font (2048x2048), - modified loadscreens

Thanks for opinions (and cookies XD) - they are very important for me . Of course I'm going to release v.1.6 in february. I've got many plans what to do and put in the Vice City. 3D grass was a big problem when I decided to place it in the city - but now I've got a good script for 3ds max and I can work faster .

For instance, you can take ENB and make some magic with it. Just don't ruin the original Vice City atmosphere. Right now you made a really great work, keep going it that way, and perhaps we will play the mod everyone dreamed about - good ol' Vice with awesome graphics.

- new weapons from Far Cry (100% sure). Maybe I'll convert some guns from Crysis. - new weapon sounds - more and more textures - some new objects (I don't know what exactly yet) - of course more 3D grass
Hey, this looks great but it's a shame that it requires a modded .exe and additional .col files... A simple retexture would have been good enough, imo.
Could you please make a version that doesn't change gta-vc.dat? And/or release 3d grass separately?
