Anyway, I'm not what you could call familiar with dubstep. I'm a fan of house and acid dance or whatever you want to brand it, but I've never really given dubstep much of a go. I've heard of Burial and Benga, but I'm talking about the "wub" kind. It gets a lot of stick, unnecessarily too. I'd never even heard of Skrillex until this week and he seems to be getting a bit of sh*t too, but I actually find that bass and wobble a lot of fun. That's all it is for me. I don't care if it isn't technically proficient - I spend a lot of my time drooling over geniuses and avant-garde/experimental music. I like to have fun once in a while because music often has a daft side.
The wobbles in this actually made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I'm not ashamed to say it.
What I'm asking (in a roundabout way) is what else should I try if I'm fond of the bass-heavy, wub-friendly dubstep genre?

skrillex is gay he buys his own music to get on top of the charts [thought he has a few good songs although they mostly sound the same.] datsik is good, seen him a few months ago...great show! check out mimosa
It's a lot quieter on the way down than the journey up.No one wants you around when you've got nothing left.I wanted out so badly but I couldn't just walk away with nothing].
Just a reminder that dubstep isn't just WOBWOB RAH *SKRILLEX NOISE* Etc + Fabriclive 37 is the best album ever.
