Prepare for something completely different...

Story:

In 1992, after Frank Tenpenny died and the riots of Los Santos ceased, the three major gangs made a deal. The Ballas would own Las Venturas, the Los Santos Vagos would have San Fierro while the Orange Grove Families would keep Los Santos. The small gangs did not know about this deal until the gangs took their respectives territories. They did nothing about it.

One year later, in 1993, the Russian Mafia got tired and took Ocean Docks away from the Orange Grove Families. The Varrios Los Aztecas wanted launch an attack on them but the Orange Grove Families prevented them. The small San Fierro gangs learnt about the incident. The Da Nang Boys were the first to act by taking over some Los Santos Vagos 'hoods. Then, the San Fierro Rifa and the San Fierro Triads declared war on the them. It was one week after the events of Los Santos.

In Las Venturas, five weeks after what hapened in San Fierro, the Italian Mafia decided it was time to act. In a only a week, they had took all but one of the Ballas zones. The Ballas had kept their most powerful members in one spot, the Last Dime Motel. And, they were defending it so well that the Italian Mafia lost every of their battles there.

In 1994, the police, the Army and all the other Law and Order forces had been wiped out. The gangs even had took control of territories in the country side. This is when the SAM was called in to do the dirty work...

One question remains: who called the meeting of this deal?

The logo, the story, the map, the characters, the factions and a trailer were added.

If you have any comments about the story (not the missions but, the concept), don't be shy to post them.

I will start to work on them today.

I'll make two versions; one with the storyline feature and one with the normal feature.

Might as well make a second trailer to show some of the missions this time.

Concept sounds very complicated, and don't be wrong, complicated concept is something that I adore.
And I also like stories which have opened questions, things we have to guess.. etc.
I look forward to the missions, you can take your time though, to make something very exciting. wink.gif

Couldn't agree more.

Sorry, but the bulky individual download links are very off-putting. .zip files are the way to go.

I know the new fashion is .zip files. It was just to keep the project alive. Don't worry, I'll put these ten missions in the .zip file when I'll be done with all the missions and the outro.

Four (4) more missions are to come and also the Outro.

After that, I will put all the missions with normal feature in a .zip file and also upload the missions with storyline fature in a .zip file.

Thanks for the feedback too. biggrin.gif

I have a surprise for everyone.

Chapter One is complete and I upload a .zip file of the missions without the storyline feature and a DSL.zip file of the missions with the storyline feature.

Enjoy!

If you notice any bugs (like in Dance Floor which I was not able to fix), don't be shy to post them.

I have begun playing your missions. And I like it how you keep them short and simple... but fun! Especially blowing up Aztecas with Molotovs tounge2.gif. Just some things though; make the files read-only. To do this, with the mission loaded, go into the mission menu and selece "Publish Mission". This will save it as DYOM0 in your userfiles folder. Change the 0 to any 1-8 number and put it in the file and it will lay as read only, which means people can't modify the mission.

Also, try not to make the cutscenes go so fast. I don't have enough time to read them all, and it's gets annoying when you miss storyline text.

I also had a bug on "Dance Floor" where I couldn't kill any Aztecas confused.gif.

I like these missions, and I hope you keep making them. I look forward to seeing what you do next biggrin.gif.

My bug was that I spawned in Las Venturas when it was time to get away instead of Los Santos.

Thanks for the feedback. biggrin.gif

I'm already making a DYOM Mission Index thing. I'd like to make it since I'm far in it.

Although I can't help but think you just stole my idea. I'll let you have this one anyway. I'm far to busy at the moment to have another guide to complete tounge.gif.

Think what you think, I don't care. tounge2.gif

I started to think about it when I saw that DYOM was divided in DYOM Missions and DYOM Support, to be honest.

The codings (tables) are already made. Need some text and pcitures (maybe) and I'll be done.
