I don't own a single one of the movies for some reason. And now I know it's because I was meant to buy a hypothetical trilogy box set. It was fate all these years that stayed my hands from buying the first two movies, when I actually had them in my hands and was about to take them to what ever register I was at. But something stopped me. |
I only have the prior two on DVD and its been really tempting getting them on Blu-Ray but I'm trying to hold out and get the entire trilogy on Blu-Ray. | Same here. I'll pick up the trilogy boxset on blu ray but I'll also get the DVD release to complete that collection.

It was amazing, the sound was earth-shattering but that might be a little but of an exaggeration, the sound is what makes IMAX to be honest. When the banging OST by Hans Zimmer is being played in the background to explosions and fighting, it makes you feel totally immersed within the film. IMAX is well worth the price, I've already seen it in the cinemas and if you would like to know what I thought about it then it is a couple of pages back . Go see it in IMAX if you got some cash and while you still got a chance! |
You know what I love the most about the sound in IMAX?
Plane which Bane was in and The Bat. I swear to god I turned around because it felt like the thing was coming from behind me. It was awesome. | Oh yeah man, the beginning sequence with Bane in the plane and the soundtrack and the airplane, I could literally feel adrenaline pumping through my veins and my stomach. Amazing.

New in this topic so forgive me if this has been asked before but...
Had Heath not passed away, would the Joker have made an appearance in the Dark Knight Rises? It's just Scarecrow kept coming back, as did Ra's al Ghul (Due to his importance in the series), Dent was mentioned a lot but couldn't make an appearance because he died.
So with the previous villains recurring, and the situation with Gotham (It being unlawful and out of control, something Joker would relish), not to mention the fact that the Joker always comes back, would he have got outta Arkham and made an appearance?

But in a lesser capacity. Rumors were even saying he was going to help Batman.

Amazing. | Seeing it at IMAX was the best experience I've had at a theater. If I get rich, I'll get my own private IMAX theater. @Domeux: If Heath was still around, I'm sure it would've been a very different movie. I just can't see The Joker not having a huge role - he's The Joker. But, I think The Joker just "disappearing" isn't as out of place as it would seem. The Joker came out of nowhere in the first place and then disappeared just as fast. It's logical for his character.
