yeah, lets keep this to traditional 80s music. Not really sure how you can class something that didn't happen in the 80s as '80s' anyway. There were still tons of different styles of music in the 80s.
The overall sound and style of the tracks I have posted matches stuff that was released in the 80s. Synthpop for example, was a genre that appeared approx. in 1980. I can make a song that uses the same instruments that were used back then, what would be the difference? That's kind of like arguing that classical music that was made after the 19th century isn't classical music.
Don't tell me you listen to 80s music just because it was released in that decade? I'm pretty sure most people just like the style of the music\sounds from back then, which can be\is easily reproduced today.
It may have the 80's sound in them, but the music is not from the 80's! This topic is for music from the 1980's. Music that was made and released/performed live between 1980 to 1989. What's so hard to understand about that? Those songs you posted were not made in the 80's!!! Oh man...
This IS NOT some " 80's sounding music that was made in 2010's" or whatever topic, pal.

Are you telling me that the only reason you like 80s music is because it was released between 1980 and 1989? It has nothing to do with the style of the music?
Because most people I know like the style of the 80s and I do believe that's what this topic is also about.

I like the 80's music because it was released between 1980 to 1989? You're not making any sense here... Yes, yes I do. Because that is the 80's music right there. A song that was made in 2010's or whatever is not an 80's song so it does not belong in the "Favorite 80's tracks?" topic.
Do you see other people posting 90's, 2000's or 2010's song here because they have the 80's sound, style or whatever in them? No. No you don't.
You are not posting any songs made in the 90's, 2000's or 2010's in to this topic just because they have the 80's style or sound like the 80's. Make your own topic. You know, "Favourite 80's sounding tracks made in the 2010's", okay? This topic is for music made in the 80's ONLY.
If a song sounds like an 80's song or has the same style and it is made in the 2010's, IT'S NOT AN 80'S SONG!!! It's a 2010's song and it should be posted in a topic where it belongs. Not here.

Pal, you said it yourself in your first post so why do you keep arguing? Those song are 2010's song and they DEFINITELY don't belong in this topic. I don't really care how 80's they might sound, but they are not made and released or performed in the 1980's which this topic is about.

If that's the only criteria for this topic, I could post some stuff you probably wouldn't even dream to be from the 80s, but it was in fact made in the 80s. So basically, this is just like a general music topic, you could post literally anything that was made in that time period?! Like really obscure sh*t.

I hear ya on posting obscure stuff. I hated the 80s and most of what I post here are just some of the one-hit-wonders that pop into my head. If I followed my heart I would be posting the stuff I actually enjoyed during the time.
