Personally I love Rap and Hip Hop aswell, but 80's music aswell just blew me away, I think it's great, especially better than the new pop groups and rock bands we have today, I have so many i'll just start off with a view of my favourite tracks.
and then theres MJ, and many other guys that are not as popular but still produce good tracks...

Good topic, Sanjeem Merry Christmas to you by the way
Man, i just love the music from Rocky movies and i'm a Bon Jovi fan too
It's hard to select a favorite track from the 80's, cause almost all my fav tracks are fom the 80's
There are just too many great 80's artists... including Jackson, Springsteen, Madonna, Phil Collins, Roxette, Queen, Dire Straits, ZZ Top and many more
Even Rap music was good in the 80's... N.W.A is my fav
"Crockett's Theme" by Jan Hammer is one of my personal favorites of all time in the 80's... you can almost put the entire 80's in it

it is pretty good i must admit me not growing up any way near the 80's i find it brilliant, yes NWA is actually very good i think aswell, Ice Cube and all that.
I too love that theme, the gentil sound of it is really good.
Forget about me simple minds is brilliant love it!
I don't even know if it's right for a 15 year old boy who's childhood actually started in the mid 1990's is normal liking 80's music, guess it's a free world though.
I also like these songs here
And for some strange reason this song, reminds me of waiting for a star to fall, and also i love the instrumentals for some reason (from Harold and Kumar aswell)

You really shouldn't give a crap about who thinks what is normal and what isn't.

Its more normal then you might think. And besides a lot of music released today is influenced by the Eighties style.
