Some of you may have read about the predator mod we are doing in other topics. We have made some pretty significant progress. We have a couple different predators, their ship, a couple weapons (including a pred mask thermal goggle replacement), and we have the cloak working as well. Here's a short video featuring the cloak. We hope to have the plasmacaster working soon, however we made need a tad bit of help if anyone is interested *cough *cough ZAZ!

Thanks to my friend Jack Krauser We now have the Predator model from AVP3 (the new game) and coupled with this new vision feature it looks really cool. This baby isn't ready for a release yet, but as you can see it's getting cool.

Models from other games aren't allowed. But the cloak thing is pretty cool!

Yeah, i know it's taboo here. Sorry mods. Just wanted to share.

Animations would indeed make it yes. I have a guy who's gonna help me out with that a bit i think. But i'm getting a lot of good feedback about the cloak.

Haven't updated this in awhile. This mod is a long term project and not done but by no means dead. Cloak works amazing well with awesome particles from Funtion-x and amazing animation by linevariy. No long range weapon just yet. Still looking for help on that. Cloaking works on the pred ship now too! I am still looking for an advanced coder and maybe an animator if this interests anyone. Good time to join a team that already has good progress. For total info, see the mod page and other vids.

That hanged upside down creature also looks pretty cool. Messing with 2D in 3D games is always freaking awesome.

The invisibility feature affects the story original missions like if you are invisible in the last mission with Smoke, the ballas and vagos will not see you ?

Well right now the mod uses a stripped scm so there are no story missions. However it is not simply visual. There is an ignored by everyone opcode that causes people to "not see you". And the cloak does short out in the rain. We also just implemented a new predator crossbow that fires arrows!

So we really need a good coder and would love an animator but they seem to be hard to come by. Please anyone out there would like to join a team that already has decent progress just drop me a PM.
