Copied the EFLC folder to a clean directory, installed the files over it without any modifications, made sure I removed the savegames from my xlive folder, and changed the registry so I could install Vice City Rage outside of the original EFLC folder.

When you guys have all the VC cars done, you should do the VCS vehicles. They would fit in really well. Maybe don't have them in traffic, but have additional spawn points for them.

nothing against that mod, but why are u guys taking that old low poly models for the city? U should remodel them with higher details. That would look better.

My game launches and it's just Tommy and some cars falling indefinately and there is no city.

Agreed. I'd love to see a version of the map that can be loaded for us in GFWL MP. However I understand all the issues with that. A IV:MP server for this would be ace.

Download my bypass, or use LaunchVCR.exe. Also your EFLC needs to be the original install directory for the DLC files to load properly. Just switch the names around. But come to think of it, if that was the issue, you would see LC.

The game works perfectly, but when i try to enter the video editor it gives me infinite loading...
Any suggestions on how to solve the problem?
It's strange because one time i managed to enter the editor...but from that time on it doesn't enter...

I had the exactly same issue but somehow I fixed it and now I don't remember. Search for my old posts, maybe I have written the solution.

I'm downloading it right now. Once it's done, I'll try to figure out how to install it (yes, I forgot how I did it) and possibly write a tutorial on it. I'll do it tomorrow as I don't have the time for it right now.

Vice has to be my favourite GTA ever. As well as porting everything over will there be newer high detail textures?

I think the first thing is to port the whole thing. We can't think of HD textures and models until we do so.
