Where to the friendly folks of Skyrim poop? I don't ever recall ever seeing a toilet or a room that's similar to a toilet in Breezehome nor Solitude Manor.
Been a long time since I slayed a dragon. I like how you don't have to purchase Dawnguard to use the mounted horse combat thingy. With my new character specializing in dual-sword combat, it's gonna be useful for my sexy Nord.
That's because the horse combat thingy came long before the dlc.

Long time no see people of the Skyrim topic.
Anyhow I've started what has to to be one of my favorite Builds. Kewan the Alik'r Warrior, he's a mercanary who roams the land doing Miscilanious tasks, unlike Most Redguards he doesn't mistrust magic and is proficent in Destruction (which is the one they tollerate the most as they see it as a force of nature IIRC) and Alteration. He's all unarmed too wearing the Hammerfell Garb and such.
Been haveing allot of fun with him, all unarmored, useing various customized Scimar's etc. Been a whole hell of allot of fun and I've been doing more rp than I do normally with him, not stuff as mundane as eating sleeping (well sometimes I sleep) but stuff like no fast travel sometimes finding a place to bunk, gonna start a Bosmer Theif/Hunter survivalist who kills people via traps (runes to suplement) and poison via pickpocketing most of the time as another RP heavy save.
Still waiting for Dawngaurd though. (Even have a paladin to make use of those new Undead killing spells)
OMG! Alduin's Bane on master difficulty was just no fun at first. One blast of his breath stripped my 270 health right off, and that was with a necklace of frost supression (50%) and a ring (28%) and a potion (20%) Then I would have to pause - take an ultimate health potion - then immediately pause again and take another one The next time you dragonrend him, he switches to fire breath!! You have to go thru the whole rigmarole of changing clothes and taking potions.
Many deaths later I decided to search the internet and found a brilliant solution...
I've put my Orc away just before Skuldaffn and restarted my Bosmer archer. You might want to watch this. It's The Golden Claw, but without the aid of a crosshair or HUD...

I just conjured a pair of Dremora Lords and hid behind a rock, throwing out the occasional fireball. Then when they died I'd use Become Ethereal to stay safe until my magicka regenerated, then make 2 more and repeat. Took a while, but I did it on my first try with my Mage character, level 55.
Also, I'm just now playing through the stoyline for the first time, lol. Now I'm off to try to hold a peace summit.

Started playing again, picked up on Tydarus, my lvl 30 Redguard. Guy's a f*cking machine. He's very handsome and has a bunch of connections in Riften. Main house is Honeyside, he's married to Mjoll and has the Black Briars on his pocket. He refuses to wear a helmet and shield and wields two swords.
He smiths his own armor from the ore his picks, hunts north of Whiterun and outside Riften, and eats whatever he hunts. Raw's the way to go.
Only thing that bugs me, whenever I clear out a mine or a cave, when I go back, it's filled with bandits again. That makes no sense.
Ah! Also intrigued on Hearthfire. Does anyone know if Dawnguard's out for PS3 yet?
According to Product-Reviews.net, an official DLC description for Hearthfire has been posted on the Reddit website. It notes that in this new addition for Skyrim, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to buy land and create their own buildings. There's also said to be massive customizations available such as an alchemy laboratory and a complete armory. That's great news for Xbox 360 users, but how about PS3 users?
Interesting. I was thinking about converting one of my characters to a merchant-type character like I've heard people on here talking about. I hope this DLC comes with something that lets you open your own shop that people will patronize.
The reddit thing isn't official, but the guy who leaked it is supposedly a credible source. He was right about some Mass Effect DLC in the past.
I think my Bosmer is actually a Snow Elf - it must be the hair. I'm putting together a compilation video of his Zen-like archery skills. It will start with the smallest creatures and go thru the whole bestiary of Skyrim, right to legendary dragon. So far I've got bee, dartwing (orange & blue) torchbug, butterfly, Luna Moth, hawk and bone hawk all on file.
Elidor was having a real tough time with this Orc at Rift Watchtower. The two Orcs at the bottom were easy, but the boss at the top kept one-hitting him with his mace. Faendal wouldn't play ball either and wouldn't come up the stairs. A few deaths later he decided to use a different tactic - killed the two at the bottom then sought higher ground...

I suppose this will be nice for role-players, but it doesn't seem much like a DLC to me. It almost feels like a pre-order bonus or update, you know? I'm not sure I want to pay $5 to build a house in the middle of nowhere unless they add more missions and achievements and all that.
