Picked this back up again after a two month absence. I'm making my way to Riften through one of the major untravelled areas - the snowy region south of Dawnstar and Winterhold and north of Whiterun. I've lost Lydia after I jumped off a mountain, so it's the first time in a long, long while I have no companion beside me, and it's so lonely in this white abyss.
One thing I want the new DLC to encompass is arrow forging. I want to craft 1000 ebony arrows to go along with my epic ebony bow.
Why do all NPC's in quests and even in DB HQ keep referring to me when talking about Astrid, as my mistress. I mean, there ain't any love connection between the main guy and her? Also just wrapped up the DB mission where you kill Victoria at her own wedding reminded me a bit of Hitman . So much ways and possibilities to kill her. I want a mission like that in Absolution.
Thanks - but I'm not on PC, unfortunately. It sucks every time I think about it.
I am now head of the Thieves Guild, to go along with 'head' of the College of Winterhold, which is all pretty cool. Yet, I still get treated like a random nobody by every Joe Blow I come across. The lack of respect the Dragonborn gets in this game is shocking. I just want to shake everyone and scream "R-E-S-P-E-C-T, MOTHERf*ckER- FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO ME!"
True.Hello,I'm a motherf*cking assassin,I murdered tons of people! Also,I murdered the emperor of Tamriel. But nobody gives a f*ck right? The emperor murdered on his own ship. The only thing I get is some new guard lines.Amazing.
I actually prefer not being a 'celebrity'. For me it's more fun to be this mysterious badass character who never reveals himself and is capable of anything and will get any job done. You don't have to know my name, you don't have to congratulate me, just know that I am Dragonborn and I will destroy anyone and anything with precision and skill.
People sometimes thank me though, which is statisfying, but seeing a dragon corpse before me or a pile of gold, that's what really makes it worth it.

I didn't mean it in that sense.Since I am a motherf*cking khajiit in nightingale armor which uses illusion spells and backstabs with his dual blades of woe. Many people ''disappeared'' from whiterun. But the emperor, everyone would notice that.If the guards know, everyone knows. But still,no one talks about it,they don't give a sh*t.
LESSON LEARNED. Next ES, I'm knocking out the main story right away.
I actually did that with Oblivion. Did everything else, the DLC, all the guild sh*t, every towns side missions and ran out of steam half way through the actual main storyline.

So weeks ago I put Skyrim down after hundreds of gameplay hours, and guess what? I never played the main storyline. Never even visited the Graybeards. Never.
I completed the Thieves and Dark Brotherhood questlines, and won the Civil War (f*ck nords). But I didn't finish the Companions and I never bothered with the actual storyline, and I'm no longer in the mood to play it.

Happened me with Oblivion (never even went through a gate). I vowed differently with Skyrim but again, all guilds completed, majority of non radiant side quest done and an extremely powerful character. Bored by the time I remembered about the quest, I saw the greybeards but then never went past that.
Ooh!A dragon is attacking this tiny town.OOh,can I go there,sweet! I finished the tutorial!Can I jump off this cliff?Yeah,I can!Oops,lost life.I'll swim a little.Can I go underwater?Holy sh*t,this is awesome.Ooh,a chicken.I'll kill it.

Same, It took me 2 months of actually playing skyrim, (on a regular basis) Too actually fight a dragon
It took me a week after I first got started Skyrim to actually start playing it properly. The day I got it I started playing but I found it a bit boring then a week later I went back to it and eventually massed 300 plus hours of playing.
Still haven't done the Dragon Rising quest. Seriously enjoy exploring Skyrim without the fear of a dragon coming down and f*cking everything up.
They aren't that bad, first few you fight are a bit tough, then when the new levels come they're pretty hard (first Acient dragon I fought made me it's bitch) but after awhile you pretty much steam roll them.
But yeah I get what you mean, when you do have them roaming they become a chore to deal with after awhile.
Anyhow made my Dark Elf assassin a Vampire, she's haveing fun with that, but it makes me miss the speed stat, and the bonus that came with that in Oblivion and Morrowind.

I've put my Breton Vampire away for the time being and picked up the trail of my Daedra worshipping Dark Elf, Mansun Shand.
I'm on the hunt for that Oblivion Walker achievement with this character, and in the past few days I've done Waking Nightmare, The Whispering Door and The Cursed Tribe for the first time. The rest of the Daedric quests I've done with other characters, but the achievement is only unlockable by getting the artefacts with the same save.
I made a little video of my Dark Elf getting the final piece of Mehrune's Razor from the Daedric quest "Pieces of the Past". It's night so it's a bit dark, but there's a nice decapitation at 2:10 and a Briarheart taking an absolute gangbanging at 8:20 (god those f**kers are scary)
I've levelled up a few times since that video was made, and replaced all my apprentice level spells with adepts on my favourites list. I'll make a video of the full character build after a couple more level-ups when I reach 40
Got back into the MQ, and the next quest is at the college, so I should reach 40 in Blackreach.
Loving this character - if I had to pick a favourite, it would be this one

Hey again. I stumbled against another problem again concerning the quests. And this doesn't only happens on one quest. Some quests I get one of the essential NPC's are gone from the game and if I try moving to him via console there would be no one there and if I move him to me he just sputs out normal NPC dialogue so I can't go any further in a quest. I am on the latest patched version of skyrim (1.5.2.6.0 I think) . I am now in the winterhold college quest called "Revealing the unseen" but when I get to the dwarven ruin and get inside, the Gavros wizard guy isn't there and when I teleport to him he isn't there and if I teleport him to me he just says normal NPC dialogue. I want a solution without using the console so it won't f*ck my game up further. But if there are no other solutions, I understand.
