I know TXD workshop will open TXDs and extract all the TGAs contained within (correctly named), but I was wondering if there was a batch extractor or something so a program can extract multiple TXDs into TGAs (with correct image names).

Its just that there are 2750 TXDs in the SA GTA3.img, It would take a while extracting them manually, if theres nothing I'll do it manually.

If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.

Sorry, couldn't resist. smile.gif I don't think there is one. But why do you want to extract them all?

But why do you want to extract them all?

I've extracted everything from the Gta3.img and I can render the complete city in 3dsMax but it wont texture everything unless I have the (correctly named) TGAs, im making my own city map but there are areas I want to clone from san andreas, it would also be handy having a massive texture resource.

It would also be usefull if i ever wanted to alter the san andreas map with new areas and create a new map display using rendered textured Top views from max

I faced the same problem. I wanted to unpack all TXD files from gta3.img, but I have to do it manually... It's a shame.
