If you like flying in aircraft in GTA, I'd recommend EFLC. In GTA IV, you can't even get over the mountain and is very irritating because you can't explore half of the map by air.

It replaces the whole map so you ARE on it.

Damn i can't get it to work. I've installed it but i got two different Rockstar folders. How can i get it to work without overwriting everything?

-instale gtaIV
-pach on 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0
-copy the folders gtaIV
-run the gostown.exe (the beta you just downloaded) select the previous folder copy.
-remove your save games ( your document> rockstar>gtaIV>savegames> here )
-remove hotel folders ( gta gostown / pc/data/map/gp/gostown6/here)
-IF you steam version : remove the comandline.txt ( gta gostown root )
-run launchgtaIV.exe ( located in the folder where you installed gostown)
-have FUN

Installed gostown. Works like a champ on my paid steam gta 4 version.

I cant get my phone to work. I'm using a regular keyboard and the microsoft controller that is pretty much an xbox controller. I tried mapping buttons for the phone to others, still doesnt work.

I haven no game saves and never played the regular version of gta4. Thanks.

I just want the phone to enter cheats for weapons and spawn vehicles.

why don't you just use the simple native trainer to use way better cheats and spawn any vehicle?

Gostown paradise is too big to be an addon, mate.

First of all, this is a really really great mod, I had hours of fun with it until now!
One question: How can you edit the water? For me it's far too reflective... Do I have to go for water.dat or the timecycle?

Well, if we can hack the limits like we can in GTA Vice City it can be an add-on. It would be cool to combine a bunch of maps like that in one.

hi guys, ive installed the map, the directory ive chosen is E/Rockstar Games/Gostown its just next to my gta iv folder, but the gostown folder has just 8 files and 3 folders (common, icon and pc), no exe's or anything, how im suposed to play it? (btw, its the torrent version of gostown)

You paste the contents of the torrent to a fresh folder with a copy of GTA IV
