Could not be bothered with the Justicar since Adept is kinda a bore to play in MP.
I'd beg to differ, being able to set of a Biotic Explosion every 2 seconds is amazing and you can blast through enemies so fast, i was paired with a Justicar Adept as a normal Asari Adept while i was doing some Geth/Gold/Firebase White farming and we were setting up explosions with each other all over the place, it was just beautiful.
Still waiting to play some MP with some of you lot on here though, anyone feel free to add me and/or invite me to a game.
I'll be humping multiplayer once I get close to the end of this single player run. Currently I need BioWare to fix my game though, so who knows when that'll be.
Only way to unlock stuff is via the packs right?? Would you recomend I save for the Preium spectre pack at 90k or buy small packs?
Well if you're just starting out, I suggest going for the Veteran Packs first. Maybe buy around three and then move on to the Spectre Packs. Not really sure whether you should go for the Premium version, but give it a go anyway. I unlocked a Krogan Soldier and a Salarian Infiltrator at the same time with a single Premium version. Sweeeet.

Huh. maybe I'm just not playing Adept as much enough. All the other classes of mine are nearing the level 20 stage, well except for the badass Infiltrator squad I got which is already at level 20. But Adept is only level 12, so yeah. Oh sorry about not having a free spot for you Minic last night, I'll invite you when I see you online the next time

I had that problem and i just launched the game while offline, played some singleplayer and then signed into XBL, when i quit to the menu no problems at all, haven't had it since.

I'll be off this until the weekend so I can get some good old mass effect 1 in, but once that multiplayer op starts up I'll be down to join anyone on xbl hosting a match.
Now this is just frustrating! I've bought countless Premium Packs and still not a single new character. f*ck me so hard.
I almost done with my Adept playthrough. Miranda died for some reason. I had her loyal in ME2 and also warned her about Kai Leng. Maybe it's because I didn't gave her Alliance support on the Citadel?
Her death did sparked an extra two words for Shepard, "That was for Thane AND MIRANDA you son of a bitch!" I love the renegade interruption during that scene, how badass was that huh?

Yes and no. On my first playthrough, Miranda survived. The only difference between this and my current playthrough is that I told Miranda she could have support from the Alliance in my first playthrough. So yeah, that must be it.

I actually thought about this topic when I was doing that this time, thinking it must be the reason for some people having that happen. [/skillful vague spoiler post]

I still have SlyElmo on the friends list, feel free to add "Meta Pathos" to your new account as well.
As far as buying packs goes, I'd say feel free to buy Vet packs when you're just starting out and want to get some general things unlocked. Once you've powered up a bit and start doing silver runs always save up for the specter packs as you'll get better weapons and rarer class types and training from them.
*Adepts and Adept Justicars are probably the best support characters in MP. As Minic said it's all about using those Stasis fields and Biotic Barriers to trigger biotic explosions, then you really get to see what they're about. Basically you trap or allow an enemy to walk into one and fire off Reave, Pull, Shockwave, toss a grenade, basically any kind of secondary power being fired into the field gets amplified in damage and a 2ndary Biotic explosion occurs for massive damage. It's a bit tricky at first but you get the timing down. I know on Dagger I pretty much just stand up in the window Stasis trapping every enemy on the board and letting people finish them off.
*Geth Engineer's have a very cool support ability as well, Geth Turrets. They not only shoot at enemies but they periodically recharge the shields of any ally including yourself when you stand near them. I was running a 2 man silver (Our other 2 dropped out in the first round) with a Quarian Infiltrator with one the other day and we were able to reach wave 10 and actually complete the objective before we died (A phantom insta-killed me) simply by rallying around the turret a bit and playing it smart.
Why the f*ck can't we use DLC weapons in single player? It's two lines of code! Literally. You can add those weapons in single player using Gibbs save editor. I already did that for Collector rifle. Did Bioware really think we wouldn't care about having more guns in SP? Pull your head out of EA's ass Bioware.
I thought James Vega was a pretty likable character. Well, there's nothing to hate about him, he's not boring ajd doesn't have the worst lines. Sure he may come off as a little cliche at times, but still there's nothing to hate about him.
And about the changing discs issue, it was in ME2 too. I'm actually surprised this game didn't came in 3 discs. A single Normal playthrough is longer than ME2's Insanity playthrough AND the DLCs included. I only changed discs twice during the course of ME3 single player though.
Finally unlocked a new character for MP. It's not the one I wanted, but hey, who could complain about not having the motherf*cking KROGAN BATTLEMASTER! And I unlocked him right after I maxed my Vanguard class level. Sweeeet.
I've noticed that the Battlemaster's camera view has been placed a little bit higher unlocked the rest of the playable Krogans. It's a good thing, because I gotta keep an wide eye while I'm busy Biotic Charging. Speaking of which, the Biotic Charge is a lot slower than the other Vanguards. Still boss though, just keep on charging and headbutting.
It's a shame they went with Vega. We should have had a krogan character instead of another human character. Grunt should have been in his place. Or Wrex.

Wrex wouldn't make any sense. Grunt, yeah I wish he was a squad member. But I like Vega, I find him a likeable character.

Vega is just the typical alliance soldier who means well but keeps his individuality. It was pretty cool from Ashley in mass effect one, but I don't find it too interesting now. I feel like they could have done way more with him and ended up with the small story arc they did because they were low on time - which is coincidentally what I blame most of the faults on.
As for disc changing, I did it like 14 times because apparently my way of progressing through the missions was out of whack.

Finally got a Geth Infiltrator today and i am loving Hunter Mode, it's amazing. I've seen a lot of complaints how it makes the screen too bright but it didn't bother me one bit, seeing people through walls and lining up the headshots before they can even see me is awesome, plus it's super helpful trying to find pesky Geth Hunters., saved my ass from a couple of them already.

I only changed discs twice during the course of ME3 single player though.
I read somewhere that the priority missions are on one disc and the "side quests" are on the other. That seems to hold true for the most part, although there was considerably more disc-swapping for me during the beginning than at the end, even though I kept on playing every side-quest that was thrown at me. But yeah, it's indeed entirely unnecessary, I installed both discs to my harddrive, having disc 1 in the tray should be enough to confirm ownership.
An entirely different thing (regarding the ending): After I finished my first playthrough, I stopped playing for a while (a couple of weeks or so). When I went back to re-play, I had to download the update. During this second playthrough I keep hearing this hum at random times during missions. I believe it's the same hum you hear in the war room on the Normandy. Just standing still in the same spot, not touching any controls and the hum would come and go. It's been too long since my first playthrough, so I don't remember if that hum was there or not or if it was implemented with the update. Do you think that Bioware may be retroactively applying the indoctrination theory? They're working on the DLC right now, the one that's supposedly going to clarify things surrounding the ending. Maybe they figure going along with the indoctrination theory is the only way to save face?

I didn't like the new kid, I only used him when I HAD to. And that wasn't very often.

I was super pissed at the number of alien squadmates in the squad. It's too damn little! I would be happy to swap EDI for a Krogan or Kirahhe.

Huh, I never noticed that. Shall noticed that during my current third playthrough.
Yeah just started an Insanity run with my sexy Infiltrator class. I love this FemShep, she's my canon FemShep for me. So they have already patched up the face import bug, but the face that has been imported from ME2 looks nothing like it in ME3. Similiar, but not the same.
