It does give a desert feel but i don't think all of the orangey bit represents desert just dry grassland like in real southern cali

^^^^^^^ I really, REALLY hope the map is nothing like this. The cities are far too close to each other for a realistic feel.

dont worry about that one. on PC it would not be a problem.

on box it could be like 2 dvds but u have to install on on the HDD first.

it will be like that for Halo4. u have to install the MP first which is 8GB.

i also dont worry about the hardware of xbox and ps3. PS2 managed to run GTA SA which is already a big map. its all about how the consoles can manage all this with good graphics

@Nero & Karl: the map can be freaking giant and would still fit on a regular DVD with more than enough space left over. it's in fact the sound files that take more than half of the disc space.

Off-topic: in Fuel it takes about 3 hours to go from one corner of the map to the other with the fastest vehicles per terrain type. the game is roughly 4GB. compare that to GTA IV that is about 15GB.

thats possible. but u have to think of all the details there are. and if the map is really 5 times bigger then gta 4 map and it has slightly better graphics, it could be that the space on one DVD is too less
