gt3 requires at least 12 mb of video memory? WTF

Square Civilian Group: Members Joined: Nov 8, 2010	Hi, I have just downloaded GTA 3, and I have installed the game, but when I click on the gta3 icon to play the game, I get a message that says: "Grant Theft Auto 3 requires at least 12 mb of available video memory." I defiantly have enough memory to run the game though. I have been searching on google and cannot find the solution anywhere. PLEASE HELP!!

Square Civilian Group: Members Joined: Nov 8, 2010	system: Microsoft windows XP home edition version 2002 service pack 3 Computer: intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.99 GHz, 3.25 GB of RAM BTW im a bit of a noob when it comes to computers, I know a lot about modding gta but not much about computers.
