Hi,

I just downloaded VC Camhack, but everytime i start it, it keeps hanging and it says "not responding"
I tried all versions of Camhack, but none of them work.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bits.

Please help me, i really need it to get to work.

I MAGAGED TO GET CAMHACK TO WORK ON WINDOWS VISTA AND 7 !!!

Follow these steps to make Camhack work on Windows Vista or 7 :

Windows Vista/7: 32 bit

1) Download "dx8vb.dll" from

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_...0/download.html

2) Download "SA Cam Hack v1.2" from

http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f647-...amera-hack-v1-2

3) Place dx8vb.dll into C:\Windows\system32\
4) Click start go to the search box, type run
5) Right click run, go to Run as Administrator
6) type cmd and open the command dialog
7) type regsvr32 dx8vb.dll and wait for it to pop up and say successful
8) Right click cam hack's .exe, and select Run as Administrator
9) Enjoy

Same process works for those who have Vice City camera tool problems in Windows Vista/7.

Windows Vista/7: 64 bit

1) Download dx8vb.dll from

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_...0/download.html

2) Download SA Cam Hack v1.2 from

http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f647-...amera-hack-v1-2

3) Place dx8vb.dll into C:\Windows\sysWOW64\
4) Click start go to the search box, type run
5) Right click run, go to Run as Administrator (if the option is there, otherwise just click run)
6) type cmd and open the command dialog
7) type cd c:\windows\syswow64\
7) type regsvr32 dx8vb.dll and wait for it to pop up and say successful
8) Right click cam hack's .exe, and select Run as Administrator
9) Enjoy



The issue:
Windows Vista and Windows 7 do not come with the dx8vb.dll file.

The fix:
Put it in the system folder!!

The difference:
32 bit uses the 'system32' folder
64 bit uses the 'sysWOW64' folder
