ATTENTION EVERYBODY!

Let me make this straight guys: are you trying to screw me and the Chain Game over or what???

Because in June we had MrMateczko complaining about me and lol232 doing all the side missions, leaving nothing for others. We stepped aside, but MrMateczko left, and except for Th3MaN1 and _____ nobody showed any particular interest in completing side missions, so I was once again left with a sh*tload of side stuff to handle, concerning that lol232 is quite inactive.

Next, when I introduced the new Starter Save with Generated Vehicles, I got Andreaz1 and fireguy109 complaining about this not being fair and all, and that they consider it 'cheating'. OK, guys, you had it, I converted to another Starter Save for the next Round. But then they both left, and those interested were derived of this fun! And what should I be thinking after all of this???

The San Andreas Chain Game is running perfectly with a modded save file, and nobody there raises an issue about it being cheating! Note that their save file is modified way much more than in the III Chain Game! Just get over the topic and read it!!! So why should we not allow ourselves such fun, in a much lesser measure???

And Th3MaN1, your issue with the incorrect Save Files is getting serious! I'm soon about to leave on vacation, and you're gonna look after the Chain Game! What can I expect from you with such a display?

Once again, let me raise the painful old question: do you want for the Chain Game to be over? Because if that is what you are looking for by trying to sabotage it - intentionally or not - I can let you have it right away!

Do whatever you want, I will play the game as I always did without using any sort of modifications or anything like that. If it makes the game more fun for some of you, then we should have a modified save.

I am personally looking forward to the next round, there's not much left to do in this one.

Don't give up, keep it up.
I can take care of it, if Th3Man1 Can't.
I am inactive... Well, I've been playing GTA Vice City and I am spending Hours on it...
Pure hell ton of fun.

I told you guys, GENERATED VEHICLES ISN'T BLOODY CHEATING.
Understand, please, at least vehicles Like A's Stinger, for vehicle Hunt,
Most of them are generated for fun's sake.
It pissed me off, when Arsen said no more generated vehicles.
I didn't want to say a word before that, but the fact that Arsen raised an Issue about it, I will tell this,
If you don't like the generated vehicles, call it "Cheating" without even using them, touching them,
why the hell should you even bloody complain? Not touching them, not getting close to them, still complaining?
What the f*ck? Once again IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM, DON'T USE THEM.
It's MAINLY for Funs sake.

About Big'N'Veiny after The Exchange, in ca do that 10/10 of the time. Easy.
Always had my own method for doing it...

Also, Arsen, what the f*ck, you get furious all of sudden?
Calm the hell down, mate!

f*ck man, sorry AGAIN.It's probably because I fill in the link to the save last, because you have to upload it,copy the link, write it here etc.I do have the saves, only I forget to upload them.
Also,we don't want it to be over.My mind's not on the Chain Game.I'm mostly outside playing so I take these quickies to progress.I can understand you're furious, and you're also right.
EDIT:The save has been corrected, hours ago.

Now I'm not just furious - I'm enraged!

I know that there are haters who's gonna hate, but when they start whining, and when they got everything they wanted, they leave and don't play no more. Having nothing for themselves and leaving nothing for others! Now what kind of crap is that?

The side missions issue does not concern Th3MaN1, because he at least does some part of them. But I've got a guy genuinely interested in us not doing all side missions and leaving a little something for himself. He's got it, but he's left and never showed up again. And in the end, it was ME left to handle like a half of it! So why should I not be getting enraged here?

The same goes with Generated Vehicles! People complaining barely even play the Chain Game now, this Round being without what they despised to have in the game's save! What should I be thinking about it other than them trying to screw me over, eh?

It is simple as that! If you don't like something and start complaining, at least stay and play, and not go away and leave others with nothing.

I honestly pray you all got the message.

P.S. Th3MaN1, it's nothing too bad with the saves, happens sometimes. It just starts getting on my nerves and I crack down on you. My bad here... Sorry for that.

It's okay man.Remember what Tommy said to Lance:"Relax, take a few days off.I screw up,you can lay on to me anytime."I can understand why you're enraged, you're basically saying the truth with every word you wrote.Through fireguy109 took 1 turn, but that's still ALMOST nothing.I can understand if they don't take turns daily.I mean, everyone has a life. It's either work, school,go out with friends, play some sports etc but majority of the turns were taken by the people who still play the CG.Honestly,I don't have any problems with you taking out the generated vehicles(even through I liked them),but the fact that people wanted you to take it out and they are STILL inactive is just not cool to me.If they started complaining about them, they could have at least took a few turns. If you look at the player list, there are:
-21 people in the list, from which:
-6 people are active
-15 people inactive
From these 21 people,3 people complained about the game:(MrMateczko,Andreaz1 and fireguy109)
They complained, but they got what they wanted, all 3 of them. But they are still inactive. This is called "Trolling" and I f*cking hate that.

Mateczko wasn't complaining, at all,
and he said he was gonna play some Tank game whatever the name is it.
He said he was not gonna participate and next few rounds, before round 11 Starter, During round End of the Round 10, I guess.

Arsen said that he complained June because all the side missions were done by you and Arsen.Sorry if i'm wrong but I didn't knew he was going to play another game because I didn't play in that round.

QUOTE (MrMateczko @ Friday, Jun 15 2012, 15:36)
lol232, aka Dennis, you make this Chain Game way too fast! Don't do 1/4th of the game in one turn. Other players would also like to do side-missions.
I did the same mistake in VC Chain Game, where I like lol232 did almost half of the game in one turn. But later it turned out it wasn't fun at all, because there was nothing else to do besides named missions.
I know you want Chain Game to be fast, but I don't want to turn it into "lol232's chance of showing how good GTAIII player he is, by doing as much sh*t in 3 hours as he can".

I guess I'm taking it out on him, but this quote proves that he was complaining about lol232 doing a lot of side missions in one go.

And his phrase "Other players would also like to do side-missions" was what made me back off from completing all the side stuff back then, only to be forced to return to completing all of it... again.

Th3Man1, honestly: use spaces.

Now, I thought I made it clear that I was agreeing with fireguy's "playing the game vanilla (ie standard) style" comment. Looking back, maybe I didn't and maybe I should have done that better. Anyway, you didn't go back to the original savegame Arsen. You still bypassed "Give Me Liberty" and I know there are people who will use glitches to get to the other islands early. I had to think about that and this is why I didn't come back to playing straight away. The reason I haven't come back to playing at all is easy: life. I have one, and it's keeping me away from the PC.

Having read this page of the thread though, I feel completely done with this. I know you created the chain game, but why the need to go all bossy and shouty like that? I frankly can't be arsed dealing with that attitude and being shouted at like that, so goodbye. Do whatever you want with this, I am officially out.

About the space thing, what do you mean?

Also,on topic:As I said,it's ok if you take turns daily because you have a life. But again,I can't really understand why is this save still "cheating".As lol said,it's a damn savegame. No cheating, trainer, mod etc.For example:If you think the cheat is the fact that you start out at Staunton, that's possible to do even with a normal save where you start with the mission "Give me Liberty".I know you said all of this in your post, but this is something logic.
Also, don't take this as defending Arsen, but I f*cked up a lot with the save link thing, plus there's all that side mission thing with MrMateczko, now there's the "cheated" save with you and fireguy. You guys asked something. You got it and you guys are still complaining?I agree that I wasn't in the best mood when I read all of this, but you gotta understand him.He has a life too,but he also has to handle all sh*t that's coming to him, plus he has to handle the CG itself too.
If you're out,fine by me(no offense/nothing personal).

Right, we're sinking in deep sh*t right now. I'll get everything straight once and forever!

What makes it fun is than nobody in the Chain Game is forbidden to access locked areas. You can play the game in the borders of unlocked vicinities in your turn if you want, but there will be others like me, lol232, Th3MaN1 and _____, who will take the challenge of getting to other islands early in the game.

While I could more or less agree with fireguy109 that generating vehicles across the map is cheating in a way of bypassing the barriers that were placed by the game creators themselves in the first place, I could never understand why Andreaz1 would consider it morally unacceptable to access locked areas to complete side missions there if they will have to be completed one way or another after the respective areas are unlocked. As some of us view it, rewards for doing Hidden packages, Vigilante and Firefighter early will grant us an advatage in completing earlier missions by using items unlocked from those missions.

But now I realised that this is how Andreaz1 viewed his definition of 'cheating' - this would in no way involve using any tricks or exploiting any of the game's glitches to be able to get to where you were not supposed to be able to get in the beginning of the game. Fine by me, I accept it. But this is not going to change the situation - there were, there are, and, I guess, there will always be players who like to wander into locked areas to complete side missions there. In fact, being able to access restricted areas was meant to be a measure of skill and craft - because not everybody can get to the locked areas without some proper training.

I think I must apologise for the way I acted before - I just can't stop getting that paranoid feel that somebody is trying to screw me over. Ever since I've returned, sh*t's been cracking here now and then. In one way or another.

I do understand that everybody has life - in fact, I have one myself, and it's been full of interesting events over the past 6 months - that's when I was off the Forums. it just feels so heckin' disappointing when I gave the guys what they were asking for (well, at least I thought so), and they stop playing, leaving the interested group without what they desired.

Understand that being a Chief is not easy, and apart from playing and running the lists, I still have to take care about everyone having a perfect gameplay and I tend to everyone's needs, wishes, propositions and requests. It's just demotivating when I've done everything at my best and there's nobody to take it, instead I end up disappointing other people who took particular interest in not making the changes I made.

That is what made me enraged in the first place. That is why I lost my temper. Whatever I do to let everyone have the best gameplay possible, it all ends up screwed to sh*t! Maybe it's not a lucky day for me, or maybe I'm just tired - don't know.

I really am going to take a few weeks off, getting away from everything. I guess upon my return I will calm down and will be in the right shape of my mind. I just hope that everything I have been doing before was not in vain.

I hope you guys will understand me and forgive me.

And now, with the discussion settled, let's get back to playing the Chain Game itself!!!

Glitches are part of normal gameplay, so I don't see any problem with using them. Will the next round start by tomorrow (Sunday)?

ATTENTION EVERYBODY!

I am soon about to leave on vacation (today evening, to be precise), and therefore, will not be active. I will be absent for 24 days, and in that time, I have to make sure that the Chain Game will be running smooth.

That is why appoint lol232 and Th3MaN1 to the titles of Temporary Chiefs. From now and till my return, they will take care of the Chain Game and make sure everything goes perfect.

The reason I appointed 2 people as the Temporary Chiefs is that one can take care of the Chain Game when another one is inactive, and vice versa, so the situation that happened last year would not be repeated.

So, lol232 and Th3MaN1, good luck! I believe I can count on you to keep the Chain Game on the track!

Everyone else, have fun playing! I'll see you all upon my return!

I found a strange glitch in the subway tunnel under Staunton: http://i.imgur.com/0VYeE.jpg
The Cartel Cruiser spawned inside the wall there. I think I spotted this glitch a long time ago, so it's probably a known thing by most people. Isn't the spawn point for the car at the construction site right above there? Maybe that's why it appeared in the tunnels.
