I recently installed cheat device 2.0 onto my 5.00 m33-6 PSP, and it constantly flickers on the cheat device menu, and on the co-ordinates bar. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It really hurts my eyes....

A cheating device has nothing to do with this forum but just try uninstalling and reinstalling.

no no no no. the same thing happens to me. dont worry about it. just do what you need to do and ignore the flickering. i have the sameeee excatly thing as u. i have 5.00 m33-6 and mine is flickering too. so just ignore it.

According to this Pinned topic, the Cheat Device is/was not designed to work on anything above 2.7 firmware, so, that may be part of the problem. You might need to downgrade to below version 2.7 firmware if you want the Cheat Device to work right on the PSP(that or get a ARMax). Just a heads up...

Also, another heads up, that is why in the link I posted above, the title says "Warning: Do Not upgrade to firmware 2.7+..."

I take it there is no direct fix (within the firmware I have) :L

I don't think I'll go through the hassle of downgrading (again), so I guess all I can do is ignore it.

Edit: @AH64Hunter - With no dis-respect, the Cheat Device is made only for LCS, and has played a massive role in the games popularity, and also showcased the early potential of commercial games hacking. 'Nuff said

Actually that topic is years old, there have been a lot of updates to it


But the cheatdevice wasn't originally made for 5.00m33 and up, so when it was converted to work, the flickering menu was a side effect, nothing you can do about it
