Welcome back HD, Sorry to hear about the bad news with family, hope everything is ok now, no need to apologise though, you haven't missed too much. Last night you got involved in Madmonk's shoobie TMW event (basically 2 vs 2, winners stay in). We also got our asses handed to us by MMD in Gang Wars (Losing both Race and Team Death Match)....
Also welcome to the group, Hornbasher62, thanks for joining Pete. Like Crimson mentioned we're equipped with some good players, but no racers / drivers, you're the best racer I've ever played against and decent guy. So I'm happy you have joined, I realise you're less active on PSN than PC, but no problem.
FUGA that Bike Race event, failed event, which I gave up in, I'm actually thinking of re-trying it, but somehow different, I like racing with bikes / traffic on GTA, and I missed all the bike-races that Doc hosted in the Race LB 16 players racing with all the same bike is awesome, weaving through heavy traffic and at any moment the possibility of wrecking, impossible to organise such a thing with random people because they insist on using NRG every time on IV Do you think it could work? Race leagues have been done so many times on the forum though
Lastly, TMW 2vs2 started last night, myself and Crimson, beat Madmonk and Eagle Eye, then defended against Vinvega and HDXL97, 2 - 0. Can we defend this title for a third game?

You'll be added to the prospect list for the time being, it's like a trial period.
If you are a genuinely interested in the gang, you play good (fair and competitively) and actively post in the topic, you will be considered for the gang as a full member, this will be done via a vote amongst members.
During the time as a prospect you can play for the Damned in any events, you can wear a Damned avatar too, however you can not access the private forum, and shouldn't create a Damned PSN account.

Monk, your post cracked me up..lol. And I felt your pain lastnight. A few times I got into a gunfight only to feel the molten lead from a 2nd gunman from behind, but that IS TMW and I live for it AJ n Crimson - it was a well played game, and I accept the defeat. But I must make excuses..lol. Ok no excuses just defeat I found myself firing at Monk once before I saw his ID. One thing I must ask from all Damned, I have a real hard time with colors, so when we play a game, try to go to a distinct color if possible. The two before the bottom (pink but looks white to me) I cannot tell a difference between them at all. If I move away from you in the lobby it is because I can't see a difference from another color. I'm not completely colorblind, but I have alot of trouble with certain shades.
Also, welcome Pete and Jimmy. I look forward with some matches with you.
We had some decent games lastnight, there was strength in quality and quantity. it was also good to see that most of those playing lastnight were damned members. just a sign of our ever expanding gang numbers. Who knows we may have a 8 vs 8 match one day?!
One problem though, in all those games i got disconnected! I hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence? I didnt want you guys thinking i was rage quitting or anything
The first game you guys owned me, summary and that brotherhood guy! your team had over 4k before we got a $!. I felt like a complete noob, always 1 step behind you guys for the missions. Well played. It was almost like you guys were teleporting to the missions! it was practically instantanious
If any of you guys were wondering about the mic icon in the lobby, i use a headset to have the game sounds come through my headset rather than the tv. i wasnt ignoring anyone or anything. i just find wearing it adds that little bit more atmosphere to the experience.

Go to accessory settings on your PS3 and turn your mic off, that's what I do with my Turtle Beach. You get the joy of the immersive experience without the annoyance of people on the mic.
Well it seemed I joined the games alittle too late lastnight I'm sorry Crimson, I was having router trouble lastnight. I'm about to buy a new one because l've been losing signal ALOT lately, even with my laptop!!
I'll be leaving today for our weekend get away I may be able to play Sunday, but most likely Monday.

I was having connection issues a few weeks back, new router really fixed it up. If you notice me lagging, let me know, last night I was host and a few people dc'ed and kicked, if it happens again at the start, immediately make a new game, and invite.
Anti-social bastards Puke and Kaiser ! I need to get myself one of those surround headsets too, Monk is always saying, ' I can hear them, there nearby' I'm like how the fk can you hear them !

Madmonk and myself were testing a little twist on TMW, basically we played as cops, any blue mission drops off were taken back to the police stations and guarded Sounds dumb, but it was quite fun, should try it again. The noobs in the game, probably thought wtf but it was funny. At one point we took a NPC - 'witness' into a 'safehouse', protected him from the rooftop...had the opponents been a bit smarter it could of made a really fun challenge to keep him in our possession whilst preventing the mission from being completed, sort of like witness protection meets cops n crooks. We also managed to get a mission vehicle on a rooftop too, hilarious.
Anyways who is going to challenge myself and Crimson tonight? I quite like my new avatar , so I ain't going to give it up too easily.

Vinvega and myself, put a potential prospect to the test in The Lost and Damned over the weekend, great player, but odd PSN name. Hopefully he'll sign up to the forum, because he impressively beat us in Lone Wolf Biker and a few races, good driver, as we need for races and a cool guy.

Those new screenshots look phenomenal. I'm glad to see the return of the bicycle, the Cheeta and the Hydra Jet. I wonder what other vehicles will be carried over from previous games into GTA V. I'm also glad that Rockstar has said that there is still more to come by the end of the week. I cannot wait to find out what "more" will be.
I didn't realize how late into August it was, so I just remembered my vacation is coming up next week. After doing a bit of research, I found out I could switch my New York timeshare for the resort I always vacation at with the one they have stationed in Utah. So, with that said, I will be off of PSN and GTAF from August 26th till September 1st. I'm hoping to get some good games in before the end of the week.
Also, welcome Jimmy and Pete. It's always good to have new recruits for the gang. Hopefully, Liam (the TLaD recruit) joins us. He's very quick on his feet and was able to win both a few Races as well as Lone Wolf Biker.

An old friend and one of the original Damned_ account holders is back in Liberty City, he's never been to the forum before, but Brazil_Dragster is back. I hope he comes to say 'hello', I've invited him to.
Liam, the latest prospect, yet to sign up, is a really decent driver, so he should along with Hornbasher give us a much better chance in the future races we compete in as a gang.
I'm super hyped for V now, but at the same time finding a lot of joy in IV and Episodes recently. I noticed a few guys, including Crimson and Jimmy have got Sleeping Dogs?

To be honest, aj sleeping dogs it's really fun. just 5 months before getting the ps3 I got to play the old true crimes games and they were really fun.
The fighting is superb and free parkour it's awesome! Racing it's like need for speed which isn't bad but I'm used to gta's 4 driving which I hated at first lol.What really kills this game it's the lack of multiplayer Imagine having gang fights, races and all kinds of cool stuff. This game is certainly in gta iv's level and if it had multiplayer I'm sure I would be playing it quite a lot more

Yeah, right now I just got the game from gamefly to see how well it keeps me entertained without MP, but word on the streets is.... they might release a free multiplayer dlc by october If so I would probably keep it
I'm all out for playing in our damned accounts, I say we should play on them against all other gangs like in the Gang Wars or some other official matches. I have already trolled those High ranks who like to kill "noobs" when FF is on in CnC, lol D56566666 was one of my first victims, It feels satisfying to give them some of their own medicine.
I have to say DA has clearly gotten me better in AA. I guess since you don't have the privilege of killing someone in 2 shoots, DA makes you play more careful and have some patience which I didn't have and many people lack lol

Crimson, don't troll too much on your Damned_ account , I'm really pleased that you have started to see the joys of disallow over allow now, we played a few days ago, I was the boss, and whilst I was a little guilty of using a corner as cover (situation was 3 vs 1), you patiently stayed back, great play and you ultimately got me.
I really miss the old days of GTA, when you could switch from allow to disallow in lobbies, you could collect all the autoaimers in one game, make them put ready, quickly change it to disallow, and start. They would be such sh*tfaces that they would leave the game, or kick you, or worse destroy the getaway because they couldn't bare to play disallow and learn how to shoot. Lobbies were never dead in those days, I didn't have to use a forum to organise games, every night there be the rivalries and epic battles.

To be honest, taking out the option of changing preferences in the lobby, was the biggest crime in history. I can already imagine it Many members of the damned are in the same lobby with all the AA "elites", in an unexpected move, trollJ proceeds to change AA to DA and no one reacts fast enough to do something about it. For the next 10 to 20 minutes... A massacre ensues
Lol but I have been playing DA only for the most of the summer. I think what used to put me off was the lack of players and my noobiness at it, but hopefully that has changed. And lol my kill on you was just luck. Anyone would be pressured against 3 people, even against noobs, but in this case I used them as baits
