Prof, ill post new download link ASAP. Hopefully it will fix your issue. I never encountered Out of Memory, except with ParrotBayRadio 0.7 beta, after 12 hours of playback. I fixed it in radio, but will get into this. I will give you Debug tool I use, and new carrec, so you can tell me after what code error appears.
Explain in detail, how it happens. What vehicle did you use, what keys did you press. Does Scripthook/Scripthookdotnet logs contain any data related to this?
Does your EFLC crash? Also, go to the /scripts/CARREC/LAGUS/ and tell me the size of the last saved file.

First public release of Vehicle Recording is online. Its more complex than ever, and brings vast amount of settings to be tweaked to achieve desired precision (or whatever you seek for), so you enjoy recording and playback, and please post feedback on your experience.

hello iriedreadlock many thanks for all your efforts making gta more interesting and fun. this whole MC thing is great but Vehiclerecording i wanted most.
i got some problems with it: how do i change keys used in the tool?
Luis is Standart driver even if i use niko as playermodel
And my mainproblem is the "file open dialog" i press "pageup" and a transparent black panel opens filling the whole screen from left to right showing just the title of itself but no list of recordings or a import button.
when i am done recording the tool exports the route just fine and autoplaybacks it once. on pressing"F12" the tool shows a massage like "importet all" but nothing happens...
iam using IV with latest patch it runs on 16:9 1280x768
hopefully u can help me on this problem.

Thank you for using Vehicle Recording, and for your support. File import will not work if you don't set correct path in your filesystem.config for importing files, and also in vrecording.config for exporting. You can find these files in \scripts folder, and \scripts\CARREC. If you see blank screen, then it means that filesystem cannot find any *.mccr files in configured directory. As you can see below, I use short path, relative to eflc installation folder, but you can also set it to for example: c:\CARREC. Open .config files with any text editor (like notepad).
It's not possible to change keys at the moment, as I haven't included that option. However, It will be available in next update for sure. For now, if you use any trainer, disable trainer hotkeys. Also, for F12, it will only import files that you selected in File open dialog. So, make sure that you configure it correctly, and when you do that, make sure that you have folder at desired path. If you set it to \scripts\CARREC\mypaths, you must create mypaths directory in CARREC folder. Note that you don't have to reload scripts after changing settings. File open dialog will reload settings everytime you press PageUp, and vehicle recording settings are reloaded when you press F11 or F12. So it's live updated. If you have any issue, or something you can't solve, let me know. I'd like to know how it works on other people computers.
Also, @gumba: I haven't tested it on GTA IV so there can be some "anomalies" like that because it's made to work on EFLC. Now, try any other model than default Player. If you use for example, IG_NIKO, you will have Niko. I'll add game version check, so you get correct model when using default player model.

When you tried to import, did you select files by clicking on item that you want? You can hold Left Control key and do left mouse press to select more files. You will see text on screen telling you how many files you selected.
Press F10, and then F12, and wait until files are loaded.
Also, after you saved your new route, check export folder (default scripts\CARREC) for new created files. If recording is there, you should be able to load it. Larger files takes longer to load, so be patient when pressing F12. It generally takes only few milliseconds.

using hotkeys to load paths works, thank you. tried about 20 records at same time and it worked very well.
iI got still some more problems The bodies do not vanish or cant be deletet after the peds fell from bike or getting killed. backspace does not remove them.
The records drive always slower than me. can they get faster whitout changeing every single line in .mccr files?
Using the "plain and precise" config results in drivers getting off path trying to get to the nearest street. even far away on ocean they drive straight to liberty city.

Thanks gumba2 for testing and noticing bugs.
I have encountered cars gettin lost on path only at one place in Laguna Seca, and also on closest place to the city on Dakota track. I am working on fix for this. New version is coming up, so it will fix the ped issue. I will make sure to upload few configurations so you can download them without having to edit every single line. Also, I am working on path editor, a small app to load configurations and edit paths offline.
Here are few hints
Ttry to set Recording density to about the lenght of the vehicle you want to record. I had this values set by script by default, but later added config based editing. I decided this because it's almost impossible to make universal configuration for every scenario and every user. Replaying races does not require the same as replaying simple mission paths. And cars, bikes, trucks may require some precise tweaking to act better. Also it depends much on handling.dat, but I tried to make it as flexible as possible.
To record bikes correctly,
Bike should be 2-2.5 in recording density.
Cars go from 4.5 - 7 recording density.
All bigger vehicles - 10+ recording density.
To get cars to drive faster, open vrecording.config
PRECISIONSPEED = 20.0 (For less dense recordings/more speed, set this to lower value)
ENABLE_ABS = 0 (AI may not be able to control cars when turning at high speed without ABS)
PLAYBACK_DENSITY=10 (Use higher values for faster, but less precise playback in curves)
SPEEDUP_STEER_MAX=3.2 (Higher value = more acceleration when doing turns)

I just realized you did release a beta update of "VehicleRecording" outside this forum.
I dont know what changed exactly but the AI behaves more stable then before! They dont loose track anymore execept when they simply cant reach waypints flying above ground.
I am very impressed and happy how the AI works!
Do i need "vehiclerecording.net.dll" and "vehiclerecording.net" in scripts folder?
Do you still work on this tools?
Is itpossible to use "PageUp" for toggeling the menu instead of using a seperate key to close it?

Sounds great and thank you for the hints, it is now much easier for me to understand the config.
And one last question, where can i get a list of DEFAULT_PED_MODEL names to use in config?
Some bugs/problems i encounter:
Sometimes if i hit F10 to load multiple routes i get this error: You must be in vehicle to start recording (car, boat, ...) Always after i get this message and pressing F12 every route is loaded twice.
After some time recording, loading, playing and changeing routes with "ENABLE_ROUTE_VIEW" disabled, there is one waypoint appearing and still visible even after clearing the memory.
Hitting the "STOP" key results sometimes in me (or me and vehicle+AI) beeing teleportet to some waypoint on one of the routes. (the stop function still works)

I am glad that it works nice for you too gumba2, as I tried to make it better, and fix reported issues. It's advised to experiment with settings. If you have any question, feel free to ask. It's not hard to figure things out, and make sure to keep backups of your configs so you can revert changes to good ones. You'd need slightly different settings for race than regular city cruising.

You only need one of those two files. The new one.
